Not Something I Would Buy Again
Ordered this item because I saw mixed reviews but figured I would give it a try because I have a cribber. Never again! It is huge, heavy, and has no breakaway straps on it. If a horse gets it caught on something it would be incredibly dangerous, not to mention it is very heavy on the horses head! I do not recommend this product.

Too big, way too heavy, doesn't look safe
I don't know what size this model horse is but this thing is huge - it is bigger than my riding helmet and quite heavy. Also, now that I can see it for real, the openings on the sides are too large and I do not find it hard to believe that a horse could paw at it and get a hoof stuck, as one reviewer said. I wish I had read the negative reviews before ordering this. It is going back.

Just a size issue: too large.
Would have been good. (I have one, but is smaller and no headstall) But this one is definitely too big for the average horse. The width of the opening is ~9" X ~10". Perhaps best for a draft horse or a cross of one. I like the fact it has the headstall instead of hooks like my other one.

Great solution to our problem.
My husband got a new horse and he loves to chew on everything! This muzzle works great. The horse can drink and even eat with it on. I’m real happy with the way he accepted the muzzle. We don’t leave it on the horse all the time, just the days he is chewing stuff up. He has good days and bad days.

The basket is so large that it would make a great outdoor flower basket . Just line the basket with moss, then fill with dirt and plant flowers. If you want to use it as a cribbing collar, don’t bother. The quick release halter does just that when the horse wants it off. I wish I had bought the Professional Choice cribbing collar first.

Doesn't last.
Not only was the wire on the muzzle spaced so that my horse could easily maneuver it to the side and crib, she easily rubbed it and broke it. Plus the wool covering wore off in about a week.

Works perfect it is a little heavy didnt for the pony but the quarter horse fit perfect
