Good quality and good value cooker head LED bulbs...
The DiCUNO E14 LED Bulb Cooker Hood 4W (50W Halogen Equivalent) are good quality and good value. They provide a bright "cool white" light, and are easily installed in cooker heads via a standard screw fixing.

Quite good, but ...
A peculiar feature of this bulb, unlike other LED cooker hood bulbs, is the long slots in sides of the plastic case. They expose the LEDs to the outside world. The effect of that cooling feature in a cooker hood is that after a time extracting steam and grease .. in my case after 2 years 3 months of successful working .. one of the two bulbs became intermittent and then stopped working completely. Examination of the bulb revealed that grease had got in through one of the slots and was coating some of the LEDs, and their electrical contacts, inside. Perhaps bulbs without slots don't last so long, because of overheating. I will find out, because I have replaced these DiCUNO bulbs with new bulbs having no slots.

Really good…
I really like these. I bought them having got fed-up with the supplied bulbs which as well as not being very bright, seemed to fail regularly. These are easy to install, very bright, and so far, lasting much longer than the ones they replaced!

Cool White Light.
Replaces two incandescent bulbs of 40 watt’s that used to get very hot in our Neff Cooker Hood. These replacement LED bulbs are only 4 Watt and give off a beautiful bright white light and the light covers are now cold; hopefully they will pay for themselves in a couple of months 🤞 The size is slightly shorter in length and smaller in diameter than the original bulbs so they fit well in the holders. Great purchase.

Bon produit parfaitement adapté à ma hotte.
Utilisé pour l'éclairage de ma vielle hotte. Chez moi les ampoules sont exposées directement aux valeurs (chaudes et grasses) de la cuisson (elles ne sont plus protégées par un capuchon) Premier achat en sept 2021: elles ont parfaitement remplacé mes ampoules originales à filament, avec moins de chauffe, même éclairage. Elles ont fonctionné pendant plus de 4 ans. Les disfonctionnement ont commencé il y a quelques semaines avec un problème d'intensité: un coup l'éclairage est correcte, un coup il baisse de moitié sans raison. Puis l'une d'elles ne s'est plus allumé. La rapport qualité / prix est bon surtout si je prends en compte la fréquence d'allumage, nombre d'heures de fonctionnement et leur exposition directe à la chaleur. J'en rachète, et j'en rachèterai.

Lohnt sich die Umstellung ?
In meiner Schreibtischlampe mit mattiertem Glasschirm hatte ich viele Jahre zwei Spiralförmige Energiesparlampen der Firma Philips von je 8 Watt. Durch den ständigen Gebrauch ließ deren Helligkeit zwar etwas nach aber sicher hätten diese noch einige Zeit gute Dienste geleistet. Da ich den Verbrauch aber noch etwas senken wollte wurden dies LED's bestellt. Was soll ich sagen, sie wurden schnell und gut verpackt geliefert und waren nicht nur gut verarbeitet sondern ließen sich leicht und passgenau in die E14 Fassung einschrauben. Das beste aber ist, das diese je 5 Watt LED's viel heller als die alten sind. Was nun den Verbrauch und die Langlebigkeit betrifft wird die Zeit und eine Messung mit einem digitalen Energiekostenmessgerät zeigen. Nachtrag 5.1.23 Die LED's sind jetzt fast 4 Wochen täglich ca. 7 Stunden im Einsatz und bringen ein konstantes nicht flackerndes Licht. Bei den Rezensionen aus Großbritannien könnte es sich bei dem beschriebenen Flackern auch um Schwankungen in der Netzspannung handeln, aber das ist nur eine Vermutung! Auch nach einigen Stunden Betrieb kann man Lampe und Fassung einige Sekunden anfassen ohne sich gleich die Fingerspitzen zu verbrennen. Voraussetzung ist genügend Luftzufuhr ! Was den Verbrauch betrifft so haben die zwei 5 Watt LED's ca. 6,7 Watt in der Stunde verbraucht. (Messzeitraum 15 Stunden, Verbrauch ca.100 Watt)
