Had a lot of problems with small gas leaks that we could not find. We smelled gas and the gas meter moved when everything was turned off. We tried soap and water and kids bubble making solution with no luck. The day this stuff arrived was the same day the guy from the gas company gave me a speech about how they were not responsible for finding leaks in the house, just up to the gas meter. Anyway he was able to find the leak in a pipe joint. When the guy who had installed that joint came and tightened it, we could tell right away that it was still leaking. The stuff worked like they say on their web site. The bubbles get big and they last pretty long, maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Really easy to see that a leak is happening. After each attempt at fixing the joint, I was able to test it and tell that it was still leaking. It must have saved me countless hours of noticing a faint odor, thinking there might be a leak, but not being sure. Finally when no bubbles showed up we felt really confident that the issue had been dealt with. I was a bit unsure about buying this since there weren't any real reviews. But I was pretty desperate so gave it a try. Highly recommend it to anyone. BTW, it says to dilute about 4 to 1 or 7 to 1 with distilled water. I used filtered water and didn't really measure. I poured some in a jar and added water. It was sort of thick. Applied with a cheap paintbrush. Put on sort of thick.

I want to try this one again, because I only made a 1.75 Liter bottle instead of a gallon. It says it makes a gallon, and I'm sure you can make a gallon, but I don't know that it would be very effective. My 1.75 Liters was pretty thin. I wanna try again and see how a gallon does.... I like that it's not blue, and it smells great (still not sure this isn't just a bottle of Dawn or something.....)

This product is well worth the money. I sprayed it all over my tire and it immediately showed me where the leak was. I looked at it an hour later and it was even more obvious. Very slow leaks along the rim.

I use this stuff for locating air suspension leaks works great..... Way better than dawn dish soap.!

This stuff has worked great so far. Used it recently to find a gas leak on a LP forklift. I diluted to the 7:1 ratio, the thinner solution recommended on the bottle. Bubbles formed fast and clear. In addition to a leak at a threaded joint, the LDF revealed several pin hole leaks in a braided fuel line.

they forgot to add the leak detector stuff to the water. I'm using this to find leak in my hot tub, its crap poured it straight out of the bottle right on a leak I could feel with my hand and nothing, It just rolled over it and kept going no wonder the 4 to 1 mix I first tried didn't show anything. I'm going back to dish soap ill just make it thicker. waist of money.

have not used it yet the bottle leaked the contents out in package.
