Meet Grindr

Very informative, but that's pretty much it.
I'll be honest and say that the only reason why I didn't enjoy this book is because I mistakenly expected something from it that I shouldn't. I was expecting this book to be am informed opinion on grindr and the adverse effects that it has on hook up culture and adversely the gay community in general. Whathe got was a bunch of statistics that whIle interesting, really only succeed in quantifying things about grindr that you could learn if you used the app for a couple of weeks. In short, the book was indeed well written and subjectively good, but I would only recommend it to people who are not at all familiar with this topic.

An interesting dip into the lake known as Grindr
This was an insightful look into Grindr and the tremendous impact the app is having on gay culture. I read this book because I was brainstorming a book topic of my own and found it to be rewarding and insightful.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Well researched, phenomenally argued. Woo's text is a seminal study of the most important technological advancement for queer men ever, Grindr. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Kind of Interesting
Badly written. Many stylistic faults. Some of the thinking is very primitive, as if the author never looked deep into himself. A few good insights and phrases, though. The book on Grindr has yet to be written.

Fabulous Book
I bought this for my project. Super informative. It quotes great sources about Grindr that I don't even know. I enjoy reading this.

Ok read
Mostly tech talk and stories. While interesting I don't think it explores enough th damage that grindr has done to the gay community and out ability to socialize outside of the app.
