This five inch seems more appropriate. Since I've had it, about 2 days, I've made four chaffles on it. With 1/4 cup of egg and cheese chaffle mix the mold fills out well. Takes from four to seven minutes to cook. Unit heats up quickly. Your first item will cook pretty quick as the unit seems to get extra hot when warming up. Seems the temperature drops and remains lower for any additional cooking so while the first item is fast, the rest will take more time. Unit looks good, feels sturdy for what it is.
