Use Case- Pneumatic Graving Machine- Nice!2
This fitting has many uses. My use case involves a pneumatic graving machine such as a GRS or Vevor graving machine that requires a push-to-connect 6mm hose that is connected to a standard 1/4โ I.D. Air hose with a male NPT thread on a normal everyday air hose. Basically, the conventional air hose normally purchased for a normal air compressor will attach to this specific fitting and will act as a reducer from that hose to the 6mm tubing that the graving machines require. I have not noticed leaking air between that fitting and the air hose. Be sure to use Teflon tape on the male threads of the air hose to help cinch the female threads of the fitting to help prevent air leakage at the connection. The important part is that the standard air hose is effectively reduced from the normal air hose size to the smaller 6mm O.D. tubing. If you just purchased either model of graving machine mentioned in the title of this review, youโll need this little part attached to your compressor hose in order to have a working graver.
