Excellent quality and performance. The dual-gear design makes a noticeable difference as you get more juice with less effort compared to standard squeezers. The build feels solid and durable, not flimsy like cheaper options. It’s also very easy to use and clean, and does a good job keeping seeds out. For the price, this is a great value and seems to be built to last.

It is made from a heavy-duty injection molded design using high quality reinforced polymer material (nylon) and a stainless-steel bowl-shaped lever that presses on the citrus fruit to encourage juice release. This kitchen tool is described as dishwasher safe (top rack). The design of the squeezer uses a heavy-duty geared mechanism to force the stainless-steel bowl-shaped lever down onto the skin-side of the citrus fruit this forcing the liberated juice through the slots in the bottom of the bowl-shaped section of the tool. I chose the model that incorporated 10.25-inch-long handles and is yellow in color for my kitchen. While I have not yet used the product for actual lemon squeezery as I currently have no lemons, I do believe that it will work perfectly for my needs. I am looking forward to fresh squeezed lemonade instead of that nasty pretend lemon-flavored stuff that comes as a powder in a slender tube that you mix with water. This is going to be great. The Chef’n FreshForce Citrus Juicer (Lemon) is easily the best lemon juicer I’ve used. It works extremely well and gets a surprising amount of juice with very little effort. The pressing mechanism really makes a difference, especially compared to basic handheld juicers. You don’t have to squeeze hard, and it feels efficient and controlled. While this is the larger size, it works great for lemons and also handles limes without any issue. Build quality feels solid, and it’s comfortable to use. Simple, effective, and well designed. If you use fresh citrus regularly, this is a great kitchen tool and well worth it.

This very nice juicer just arrived on our doorstep today; we got the yellow one as it was more than half-off on Amazon at the time—not a bad deal at all! We ordered it to deal with an over-abundance of tiny key limes, hoping it would make swift work of them since our electric counter-top juicer isn't designed to handle such small citrus halves. We immediately noted that this new FreshForce Lemon Squeezer works great on lemons with thicker rinds, but requires a simple hack to do tiny thin-skinned keylimes (see below). The squeezer is very easy to clean by hand without any hassle and seems to be sturdy for use in our home kitchen; so far this appears to be a good lemon squeezer for our paltry needs. (And, to be honest, it makes me want to test out at the bigger, long handle orange squeezer that FreshForce also makes…but until "too many oranges!" becomes a problem around here, that's on the indefinite backburner.) Key Lime Squeezing Hack: Basically, you squeeze each half of a key lime with the press singly (pulp side up), then you double up the two halves (again, pulp side up), and this gets almost all the juice out of tiny key limes! This mean it takes three squeezings instead of two to juice out each key lime. Give our current transitory key lime squeezing needs, this is acceptable for our kitchen. (I tried all combinations I could think of and this hack worked the best with this model squeezer; all other combinations resulted in notably more seed bits in the recovered lime juice.) Base on our limited exposure so far to this squeezer, I'd give it 5 stars if it came with a key lime insert—that's a truly minor quibble though on what appears to be a great product for the paltry $16 we paid for the yellow version…and we note that that deal still seems to be offered on Amazon so, as long as that's in effect, we give this product 4.5 out of 5 as an outstanding squeezer deal! Will try to update this review with more info if we note any significant flaws if/when they arise.

The difference between this and a standard squeezer is night and day! It may look similar, but it's a totally different machine. 1. It's BIGGER; and therefore deals easily with large lemons, big limes, even small oranges. Still, it fits easily in a drawer. 2. The hard plastic it's made of is lighter in weight and has a slight texture that makes it easier to grip and not slip. 3. Almost NO PRESSURE is required to squeeze the gadget which makes it much easier on your hands. 4. It cleans up easily and quickly. I'm very happy with this little invention and considering the low cost, I think it will make a great gift for all the foodies, scratch cooks, and cocktail makers on your holiday or birthday list. Excuse me now...I'm off to make some margaritas!

My husband and I have gone through SO MANY lime juicers in the 12 years we have lived in our house. I say lime juice because that's what I'm always always juicing. But obviously this works for a range of citrus. And did it work. First, it's a super sturdy contraption. It's made of plastic and metal, and it's HEFTY. Like you could brain someone with this thing during a home invasion and they'd go down like a sack of bricks. The design is genius: the standard plastic bowl with slits at the bottom for juice to escape but it traps seeds, but the top has a hefty metal compressor that obliterates the fruit. I get a lot more juice out of my limes with this thing. And when you're making a pitcher of proper margaritas, you're squeezing a lot of limes. This thing is wonderful. And I found it because I looked at America's Test Kitchen's recommended product after our zillionth lime juicer just broke for no reason. Worth every penny.

This ratcheted lemon squeezer is saving my injured bicep! It makes it easy to get all the juice from a lemon. Also easy to clean -- I put it in the dishwasher.

I was shocked by some of the reviews on this item, specially once it was delivered (in time from Germany) and I could press lots of lemons and limes with it, getting lots of juice from them. First, drinking fresh juice of this amazing fruits is so extremely healthy, you should not miss it. But then, some reviewers said: It's a bad item, because I cannot use it for large oranges. Pardon me, it is NOT an orange juicer - as the very name of this item says - but it is a lime and lemon juicer. So be happy if smaller oranges work, but please don't complain when larger oranges don't. Because it is a LIME and LEMON juicer. Got it? I find it very unfair against the supplier to post a bad review because an item does not do what it is not supposed to do... 2., some say you can break it. Well, sure, you can break anything. But how were you able to break this? Did you try so hard until it broke just so you could write a bad review? When you use it with even very slight common sense - not much, really needed - then you will NOT break this item, because it is very well build. Third - one review was specially hmmmh... strange, giving one star because the juice smells bitter. Well, if you buy a juicer that gets you up to 20% more juice and then you complain that some of that 20% is just a bit bitter and give it one star then, well, you do not like lemons or limes. Apparently for you everything needs to be sweet. So, on the whole, take this item if you like to get lots of vitamins and you want to get juice out of these fruits without efforts and clean it effortlessly and get the last drop out of them. Don't ever buy one of the electric ones and don't buy another one at all. Because I am a lemon/lime lover since being a little child and.. this is the BEST juicer in the world. Pros: - Well build - Does the job (lemons and limes squeezing) extremely well - Fast and effortless to use - Squeezes better than any other manual or electric squeezer I owned before - Makes me healthier - as another reviewer mentionned, he is buying lemons and limes now just because it is so nice to squeeze them, same thing happened to me. My consumption has doubled ;) Cons: none. seriously.

Great Quality

I recommend this to everybody. It's simply a genius product. With this product you will be spending seconds pressing citrus instead of minutes. Due to the design with a gear that gives it some extra levered power it take minimal effort to squeze the juice out of any citrus. Even kids can use it. Cleans easily, just a rinse and back into cupboard. Love it!

I can recommend this lemon squeeze to anyone. It's sturdy and very practical. The only thing that's missing is maybe a sort of an eye-hook at the end of one of the handles to hang the item.
