It was easy to put together. The hand grips are pretty comfortable, and much better than similar machines that use the same pedals for the feet as grips for the hands. This bike operates very smoothly and is quiet. It has one odd feature: the straps for the hand grips are as long as the straps on the foot pedals (in other words, too long to be useful), but that does not affect the function of the machine in any way. I am really happy with this as an arm bike, and I think it is going to work well for my Dad. I have not tried it for legs; the provided pedals seem really sturdy and I suspect it will work well for leg use for anyone who is buying it for that purpose. UPDATE: We tried it for the legs, too, and Dad did really well. The pieces of Dicem (anti-slip material) are very helpful for both arm and leg use, when on a slick table or vinyl floor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty, real gym quality *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2018* Forget the cheap flimsy units ... this pedal machine is a solid, a top-notch piece of exercise (or rehab) equipment. You will need to solve the slippage problem (it will walk forward) but being heavy, this unit exhibits less of that problem then most. Mine is outdoors, and I use C-Clips around the 4 horizontal "legs" screwed to the wooden deck. Cheap and trivial hardware-store stuff, works perfectly. I positioned it so that the (patio) chair I sit in is against the wall, so the chair does not slip backwards. I have thus created an outdoor pedal exercise at a very attractive price. I throw a little tarp over the machine and it stands up perfectly to the rain. A colleague of mine is getting one for under his desk at work. Note: I use the hand pedals (included) as the foot pedals instead of the foot pedals that came with the unit ... I prefer a traditional slim bike peddle feel/fit, no strap. Works! I also didn't install the little exercise meter, seems totally unnecessary, just tuck the wire out of the way (back in the plastic housing) and use the real monitoring solutions you already employ on your watch or phone, of course. Manual tension adjustment is perfect for me, but try it right away to be sure you have a setting that works for you while still in the item return window. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This item can slide forward when using. *by G***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2020* I bought this for my elderly husband to exercise his legs and arms at home. He loved it but it will slide forward as he bicycles. I braced it to prevent this and it’s been fine. It tell the calories. time and you can adjust the pressure.
