High Times: Singles 1992-2006

Stumbled upon Jamiroquai in 2002 after purchasing a used version of the Travelling Without Moving CD. And that was when I became hooked! I can't believe that Jamiroquai is not in heavier rotation here in the US.The CD is a great compilation and includes some of his(Jay Kay's) more popular songs including Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, A Little L, Love Foolosophy, and Canned Heat. Also included from the Dynamite CD are Feels Just Like It Should and Seven Days In Sunny June, which are 2 of the best songs from that CD.If you are into Dance music or just want something funky and different, this is a great CD! You'll wonder why you didn't discover it sooner!BTW, this band, the lead singer being Jay Kay for the ~15 years or so, may sound to some like Maroon 5. But they were here long before Maroon 5 and are much more prolific. So, really, no comparison. Much funkier, much groovier, much more fun to dance to!

CD arrived with half the plastic wrapping ripped open and cd case broken, for a new cd this was not acceptable. The songs are really good country/pop mixed songs that aimed to fit accordingly with the other artists. Overall, really good song selection.

I am so glad I bought this CD with JAMIROQUAI's best hits (and plus some "extra" bonus songs are included).If you like the sound of a sort of combo "jazz-rock" Cd then this is the one for you. JAMIROQUAI is a great band. It`s hard to truly define their sound, but whatever it is ,... it's GREAT!As I said before, this band is a combo jazz-rock with a bit of alternative thrown in. The lead singer is AMAZING! The other band players are absolutely amazing too.If you get this Cd, you wont be able to stop your feet from twitching to their beat. FUN!!!!!!PS: if you have seen NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE then you will recognize track # 11!!---LOVE IT, and so will you!

My first copy scratched so I had to buy another. Might as well right a quick review. This collection is a pretty great sampling of Jamiroquai's work. There's some songs I would have taken out (High Times, Corner of the Earth) and some songs I would have included (You Give Me Something, Half the Man, Light Years) but overall the album encompasses most of Jamiroquai's greatest singles. The two "new" songs on the album are Runaway and Radio - both are pretty outstanding. This is an easy buy if you love the band or discovering Jamiroquai for the first time and wondering where to start.

I was listening to the Local On the Eights weather report and Jamiroquai's "Canned Heat" was the background music. I went bonkers! The only time I have ever heard the song was in "Napoleon Dynamite." Canned Heat is one of the best dance songs, right up there with B52's " Love Shack." These songs make me jump to my feet and move. I am not a big fan of all the music. Their music is diverse. From jazz to disco to acid funk. I do enjoy listening to my new cd however, DO NOT listen to Canned Heat before you go to bed. The song will run through your head all night long and you will experience Restless Leg syndrome! :). Karen

This may be the best music album ever. I was never into Jamiroquai, but recently heard some of their stuff, so I bought this album. The approach to music that they use is so wonderful, I can't really put it to words. I play guitar, bass, drums, some piano, etc... and this music makes me just want to give-up because I know I'll never be nearly as good as Jamiroquai is. I've even considered taking dancing lessons just so I can dance to this music and know that I won't look ridiculous. Listen to the samples. If you like what you hear, BUY THIS ALBUM!
