**Q: does this timer tick while its counting down?**
A: This timer was a HUGE joke!!! It didn't even work! I would advise you not to waste your money on this.

**Q: Where is this manufactured?**
A: The company is in the Pacific Northwest, but there are no origin markings on the timer.

**Q: what type of plastic is it made of? pvc? abs?  thanks**
A: I'm not sure what its made of but is is accurate and it isn't loud enough..it goes well with the theme in my kitchen

**Q: Does this timer have a single "ding" or does it ring for a few seconds?**
A: It barely dings.  It’s cute but it’s easy to miss the ding, so I don’t use it for cooking.
