Prestone AS240 Windshield Washer Fluid Booster De-Icer Additive - 15.5 oz.

Works exactly as expected. We go through a fair amount of screenwash during the winter months, so I was looking for an alternative to the expensive gallon bottles of winter screenwash. We usually go through 5-6 gallons for our cars and so I wanted an option to use less plastic and to save money. I bought a large pack of 100 screenwash tablets for $10 (each one dissolves in a gallon of water) and then I add this product to prevent freezing. Has been fine in temps way below freezing and making my own screenwash probably saves us over $100 a year and saves on 7-8 gallon plastic containers we no longer have to buy. Very happy with this.

Used it before when the washer fluid froze years ago. AutoZone no longer carried it. Found it on Amazon for more than I did the first time in Autozone. It works great if your windshield fluid freezes. Takes a few hours to work after pouring in.

Reasonably priced. Seemed to work well. Had no issues in the snow

My husband uses this additive in his Kenworth. It’s the only one that actually keeps the wiper fluid lines from freezing up. It also reduces ice buildup on the wipers.

We live in the South, but often travel to the Mountain West in the winter. In the South we don't have hard winters so our windshield washer fluid isn't rated to very low temperatures. Out West when I try to use my windshield washer, it just freezes to the windshield on very cold days. Not optimal. This additive fixes that.

After I inadvertently bought some "summer use only" solvent, that promptly froxe solid in my washer tank, I found this additive and poured it in as directed...problem solved, it don't freeze anymore...AND the washer fluid does a great job of loosening the dust and dirt that loves to attach to my windshield...
