The sound quality is beautiful. Also, the replication of the original album cover-art is nice. I, however, do have a problem with the reckless design of packaging where there is no protective sleeve for the precious CD. I figured a way to remove and replace CD to avoid fingerprinting or scratching, but it does take a little effort. I can only imagine that something I believe is worth so much could be carelessly thought of so little as to endanger the product in this way. Another unfortunate situation arises when thinking of the missing albums which should definitely be part of this set. 'Shake' and 'The Wonderful World Of Sam Cooke' are two very important albums which should get the recognition they both very well deserve, understanding that 'The Wonderful World' is KEEN, but not understanding why the truly final RCA album "Shake" was overlooked. The music is more beautiful than ever! Enjoy if you can find it! Review: Nice Collection of Sam's RCA LPs - Of course, I have every single Sam Cooke LP ever released but it is a hassle to play vinyl these days. This collection contains some excellent re-engineered copies of Sam's RCA LP releases. You have to be a true Sam Cooke fan to enjoy these, however, because the LPs rarely contained all the Top 40 hits. Missing is The Best of Sam Cooke LP (the yellow cover) and the LPs released through the Tracey Limited arrangement. Those items belong to ABKCO. The booklet included with this package is excellent and contains some great information.
