will this fit an ipad 1st generation mbl293 ll ?

I am not familiar with that model number. If it’s about the same size as a first generation iPad it should fit, but remember this case has no camera port, and you should check to see if your speakers and controls are in the same locations as on an iPad.

what cover fits model #mc769ll/a?

I am not sure if I can answer this question. My iPad model number is different from yours. My iPad is a fourth generation iPad. If yours is a fourth generation then maybe this will work for you.

Will this case fit iPad a1337?

iPad a1337 is an Apple 1st gen so it should fit the case.

Is this genuine leather - or a synthetic?

Yes, it is leather. The cover has a fold about 1/3 down from the middle.
