really solid little unit.
I have had this unit running 24/7 for months now, aerating a farm pond to help keep the water clear. It is quiet, draws very little power, and puts out a significant amount of air. I have it attached to a weighted diffuser with several "arms', and there is about a 2 foot wide circle of constant bubbling near the middle of the pond...just what I was hoping for.The unit sits out close to the pond...in the open. I have it where where it won't be sitting in water after a heavy rain...raised on a block...but other than that, it has been through rain, snow, lightning storms etc...and it came through with flying colors.

Worth the money
Excellent pump. My last one, identical to this one, lasted 10 years. Very pleased with the performance of this pump.

Saved money- working great
A similar pump from my septic company manufacturer was $600 plus installation. Bought this pump for less than half and installed myself. Been in five days and working well ( identical fit to my old pump set up). Has resolved odor issue from lack of aeration. Fits 600. -800 gallon a day aerobic system.

no complaints so far
my 15 year old one died and I got this one to replace it. I'm hoping that if I take better care of this one, that it will last even longer this next time

Used for septic aerator
Direct replacement for the old Clearstream CS103EL - It's nearly identical except a different color.Seems to be built the same way, and use all the same parts with all the same openings in the same locations. It runs very quietly. All you hear a low hum.Built pretty solid, and can be rebuilt 2-3 times with the rebuild kit where you replace the baffles inside the pump.Rebuilds are easy and take about 30 minutes.I was getting 2-3 years per rebuild in northern Illinois and the pump running 24/7 outside in an enclosure. It's a bit expensive, but it does last a long time and can be rebuilt for cheap a few times before you have to replace it.Dinged 1 star because the power cord is a bit stiff. Would be nicer if they used a better material for the cord. For my install, I needed to cut the plug off and hardwire into the Clearstream enclosure. Not hard, but if you don't know how to do this, you should ask an electrician for help.

Easy to do the replacement.
Easy install. Smooth startup. Quieter than the old one that failed.
