Perfect for precision work. The mat is magnetized just enough to capture wayward screws and small metal parts, but always let's them go to a magnetic screwdriver. Amazing.

I gave this item five stars because if used properly its perfect. I however tried to use it to hold spice jars but the magnet isn't strong enough. The conversion chart is handle and we just the mat for a quick view shopping list. I write down what we need and snap a pick on the way out the door. Cells phones are convenient but sometimes you need to write things down.

I am a very picky shopper. Very skeptical and was nervous reading the reviews. I usually go through the nits and grits of things and one thing is certain, I will never buy something that I don't research heavily into (especially if it's related to technology). With that being said, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I HAVE EVER MADE. If you plan on replacing a ram, a phone glass, etc. yourself, I recommend this product that worked WONDERS for me (The cool thing is these tools can be used for other items like cell phones, tablets, computers, etc.). Not only can you not worry about screws falling, the marker is amazing when drawing or labeling. Must buy and for the price, it's a steal!

I use this for my work as a technician and it does its job good. The only things that bring it down to a four, which still makes it pretty good, is the grey square that lists the dimensions. It's kind of petty to dislike it, but it doesn't make it look as great. Besides that, nothing to really complain about. Fits in my backpack for easy transportation. Has more room than I could even think of using. The magnetic part is strong enough to keep all small screws stuck to it even when stored away. It's got what helps me stay more organized, especially with the marker if you need it. Would recommend

The idea is great and the mat is working as described. Where this fails is the loss of one of the available squares to what *should* have been a removable sticker in the bottom right corner - it's printed on the surface which eliminates the ability to use it as intended. The marker is also rubbish, particularly in comparison to iFixIt magnetic project mat. The marker bleeds everywhere and doesn't have an eraser built into the cap (minor point that I can live with, but iFixIt does have that in their superior marker). Generally it's a good value but I would probably look elsewhere since I feel as though I was robbed of usable space.
