I think this book has been one of the most influential books I have ever read, and the most frightening. I have been convicted to the level of mass murderer who deserves nothing less then to be tormented in Hell forever...yet, thanks to my Savior there is a way to escape Hell. And I know the way - the saddest thing is that I am human and I am a sinner. I have fear of others so I haven't been faithful in sharing the good news that sinners can be saved by Christ's blood and sacrifice. When I have shared it I didn't want to tell about the sinner's reward, the Lake of Fire, because it isn't pretty. I now am learning to read the Bible differently, to stop thinking the promises are so I can have my earthly dreams come true but that they are so I can be on fire for Jesus and not my selfish wants. So I can help others escape eternal torment. This is a must read for every Christian. We don't want to miss the promised land... (And if you don't believe in all that, Jesus, Heaven, Hell, can I just ask one question? How will following Christ change your life? What do you think you have to give up? I still have nice things, a good life,a loving family and lots of friends. I don't get drunk anymore so I don't get hangovers or DUIs, I don't need drugs, I am happy. I don't date losers or marry them and my heart doesn't break anymore. I miss nothing of my life before Christ, I have peace, happiness and love. Isn't that what you want?)

I thought being saved and baptized was my ticket to heaven. I was wrong ! As you stand in front of the throne on judgement day are you willing to place your current knowledge of the Bible as to where you spend eternity? There is so much we don't know, and I've read the Bible cover to cover twice. This book helps you understand ALL of what is required. I beg you to read this book and please tell others of it.

This is such a powerful work! It starts out with an allegorical story. Which is very inspirational!. And then ends with testimony of real life accountings of the power of being obedient to the Lord and our expectation of His return. This would be a great book to give to someone who may not be a believer but might be interested in reading something that eventually could be a witness to them. I have purchased extra copies of this book and have given them out two friends and family. If you want to read a book that will help you in your walk, help re-clarify your focus, and get you to realize just how little time we have on this earth to help others. This is a book to read!

This passionately written book by John Bevere will both excite you and convict you. It is for both those who earnestly serve God with every breath and for those who are lukewarm. It is for both the non-believer and for those who are "on the fence". This book will stir your soul and cause you to rethink every facet of your life! If you are not changed by reading this book, than there is no hope for you. If you are not changed from this book than I believe you are spiritually dead. This book will help you seek out the calling on your life and will make you declare, "I AM READY TO SERVE YOU LORD!". I highly recommend it to ANYONE who can read. I have already purchased over 10 of these books and have handed them out to friends, relatives, or people that I don't even know that well. This book is anointed! Buy it, read it, and then buy more to give away.

John Bevere is truly gifted from God. I am a semi new Christian recognizing that wa are living in the days of Jesus return and therefore need to make every second count for eternity. I have not yet fully stepped out as a Christian yet but asked God to work on me quick realizing that I may not have years to become a mature Christian before I am called to rise up stronger than the present and ever growing evil in this world. I have purchased more copies to give as gifts because his message of preparing for eternity can not be ignored and even if those who receive this book think they would rather have money, they hopefully will realize that eternity is more important than present comfort and concern for wordily things........now more than ever people need to hear this before world war three erupts and 1/3of all people are dead, a peace treaty for Isreal confirmed by the anti Christ, one world government, the great tribulation and return of the blessed Christ our savior.......

This is a book I wish everyone could read. I've read it twice and will read it again.

Bevere sees things from the Arminian side, and I am much more towards reformed. That said, this is another in a series of excellent Bevere books. He tells a parable of a kingdom that puts its youth through a trial, years in duration, before being appointed to their true positions in adulthood. His views of eternal judgement, and earthly responsibilities are then revealed as the parable unfolds. He goes back and forth between the parable and expounding the meaning of the parable. As he expounds, he gives real-life examples of people that lived with eternity in view, and some who got tangled up in temporal vision.

Very revealing read. Should be read by every person

Every Christian should read this! Every person who has not known Christ should also read this! It changed my life, and made me look into the real things than the temporal ones. It brought me to the reality of eternal things, and know how to make our life count. If you need a spiritual breakthrough in your life, read this book. If you are feeling dry in life, this book is for you. If you doubt your faith, this is your book to bring you back. If you lack the right perspective of your faith, this book is for you. If you want to understand the final judgment explained in Bible, this book explains them very clearly and vividly not moving out of the Bible scriptures in anyway. The allegory explained in this book is so very touching. Later, this book explains it in more detailed way expounding the relevant scriptures.

Wow...John Bevere is a very annointed man of God delving into the depths of God's word in this book. This book will change your life for Christ forever, it will give you a different perspective on your life before God for the absolute good. It will definately challenge you and cause you to think about your own lifestyle...this is a MUST for every believer in Christ. Thank you John Bevere!

Fantastic Book. I have only paid a fraction of a price, as this was a second hand purchase. Even though a wait was fairly long as it was arriving from across the pond, it was still worth it. It is such a good book, I will want all my friends to read it. Thank you.

This is a book every Christian and non-Christian should read. A lot of lives could be changed for the better.
