Excellent product

The safe was delivered in one day, good job Amazon. However, soon as the product was taken out of packaging, noticed multiple manufacturing and QC issues. The safe door was misaligned and bent downwards causing to safe to get jammed while opening. Further, the jamming and friction had already caused the paint to wear off and rust accumulation near the lower edge of the door. After spending 30 minutes to try to open it, found that the battery compartment electrodes were not properly aligned causing the batteries to not fit at all. Returned it on day one (Amazon support was quite helpful in the process). Reading other positive reviews about the same product, I am led to believe that this is likely a one-off old inventory issue. Will attempt to order again.

Amazon delivery is awesome. On delivery unable to open it, though it accepted any finger print/sensor works. I could also hear the motor opening the lock, but door didn't open. Godrej customer care is pathetic. Lady was not at all interested to hear my concern that its delivered in door locked condition. But she simply points me to Godrej support site, which has video for how to register the finger prints. I clearly asked her if this site has video for how to open the locked door in first attempt. She said YES but its not the case. I called them again. Fortunately I was connected to other executive and he understood the problem and raised complaint for the same. With-in 3 hours Godrej technician visited home and found out that its door jam. He applied some pressure with screw driver on the door sides and it came out in few attempts. Screw supplied does not seem to hold the 16KG locker if you just fix it on wall. Either use some strong screws and/or fix it on both wall side and bottom side with 8 screws. This can be best fixed on wooden cabinets. Its very easy to register upto 30 finger prints. Has manual key for back-up, incase of batery expired or any other problem. Remember this model is to protect your items from unauthorised access. And it does serve the purpose for the amount paid. Dont treat this as a replacement for bank lockers. For that you need to invest more and different models exists (fire proof, double stronger walls etc).

The product delivered is slightly out of date and the same is not available from the supplier Godrej in direct online mode with Godrej. The door alignment was damaged when delivered . Godrej technician had to correct it at the time of installation .
