Too the age off of my teak chair and table legs. Once they dry, I will be staining with Semco teak stain (not oil). Hopefully it will last longer than when I treated the legs with teak oil. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Teak Cleaner *by on Reviewed in the United States 13 January 2010* This product is easily applied. However, it may require multiple treatments to work. Also, application needs to be followed by a metal brush in order to make the darker areas brighten up. I was not terribly impressed, even for the teak table and chairs I was trying to clean - all were in good shape and outdoors for less than a year. Too much work is necessary if multiple cleanings per year are required. According to the write-up this should not be required. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Garapa deck yearly cleaning- best product I have found *by on Reviewed in the United States 23 May 2025* I would give this a 5 STAR but not sure if there is any product better. I have tried the Woodrich cleaners, oxalic acid etc...This stuff is by FAR the best to clean off the years crap & buildup. I have at least 600 sq ft of GARAPA decking and railing plus steps. STAR Brite Teak Cleaner woorks the best with the least amount of effort. I scrub the entire deck by hand and with a RYOBI cordless outdoor Patio sweeper drum brush. I bought the optional deck drum brush and that worked better then the black drum brush that came with the tool. I did not dilute at all. I am a contractor. I do use brightener oxalic acid to brighten. Not sure if it does much. ## Frequently Bought Together - Star brite Teak Cleaner, 16 oz - STAR BRITE Premium Golden Teak Oil 16 Oz- Sealer, Preserver, & Finish for Outdoor Teak & Other Fine Woods (085116PW) - STAR BRITE Premium Teak Brightener - Enhances Natural Wood Grain & Restores Tone & Color While Preparing for a More Consistent Application of Teak Oil, Sealer or Stain --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/155936901-star-brite-premium-teak-cleaner-restore-renew-and-refresh-old](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/155936901-star-brite-premium-teak-cleaner-restore-renew-and-refresh-old) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
