Here's another convertible backpack from High Sierra. It's actually three bags in one! You can use Ultimate Access 2.0 as a wheeled backpack, carry-on bag or a day pack. With this flexible feature, this bag is useful for all types of adventure. It doesn't matter what road you are traveling. Whether you are traveling on rough terrain or smooth concrete pavement, this wheeled backpack is the perfect gear. A combination of rugged Ripstop Polyester and Nylon fabric makes High Sierra's Ultimate Access 2.0 a strong and durable carrying backpack. These extra strength fibers are woven into fabric at specific intervals to provide exceptional tear strength in a lightweight material. You can carry your luggage with confidence in this 400D Ripstop Polyester carry-on bag. This High Sierra wheeled backpack converts into a convenient carry-on bag. Hidden padded backpack straps are stored behind the zippered back panel. Open this pocket and the wheeled backpack becomes a convenient backpack carry-on bag. Padded shoulder straps keep it comfortable on your shoulders. A retractable handle provides easy maneuverability when extended out from the suitcase. It stores neatly back in place when not in use. Whether fully extended or stored, this recessed, telescoping handle locks securely in place to keep you safe while traveling. Oversize, skate-style wheels are fixed into corner-mounted wheel housings. They provide mobility to this carrying backpack. The main compartment comes with a book-style opening. Interior clothing straps keep your luggage organized while you travel. A detachable day pack with zippered accessory pockets provides additional storage. You can easily remove it when needed. So, no matter which road you wish to travel, make sure to bring High Sierra's Ultimate Access 2.0 Carry-on Wheeled Backpack! Review: Need a suitcase that can meet your changing needs? Look no further. - This was the perfect suitcase for my trip. I went to Greece for 5 weeks to visit family. I also knew I would be taking a lot of side trips and switch home base at least once. So I needed a suitcase that was both durable and versatile. The removable day pack was just what I needed. And the fact that the suitcase was also convertible from a roller to a backpack was a godsend. Best of all, the entire thing is large enough to hold all my necessities and souvenirs and is still considered a carry on so I wouldn't have to check a suitcase if I didn't want to. Highly recommend this product. Review: Made 2 weeks in Italy easily. - I bought two of these for my wife and I to use as we took a two week tour of Italy. I had my doubts, but we did the entire trip without any other luggage. Easy enough to leave the large section at the hotel and carry the small section during the day for camera's, passports, etc. No waiting for baggage at the airport (except Emirates, who insisted that anything over 20 pounds had to be checked). No rips, tears, no seams coming apart, everything worked as it was designed to work. Separating the two and putting them back together is easy and quick (practice before you leave). Now this is my travelling companion. Love it.

Pretty Good Product
This carry-on/backpack serves its purpose. It is lightweight and surprisingly roomy. It was ordered and shipped all within two days. The only complaint I have is the material on the backpack part of this product. All I carried was a small umbrella, a bible (fairly small), and a bottle of water on most days and within the week, I noticed a small tear. It is not noticeable, but something I wish had been more durable. If this is something that doesn't bother you, I would recommend you buy this product.

This is a very nice case, but it's not 22".
I have a blue High Sierra A.T. Gear Ultimate Access Carry-On https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ZVQQVS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage 20.5" carry-on, but I wanted this slightly larger 22" version, However, I was bummed to find that this case did not measure up to the specs on the website page, and it's the fault of High Sierra, as it's clearly marked as being 22". But instead of being an inch larger in almost every dimension, it was instead dimensionally identical to my nominally smaller 20.5" case. So I had to return it. But if 20.5" is OK, then I would highly recommend this case. My blue one works great. What I particularly like is that the pack on both carry-ons is very soft, so there is no reason to remove it when traveling. It fits just fine in every carry-on space I've encountered. And at 20.5" tall, it's technically good for virtually any airline in the overhead bin. Most airlines allow up to 22", but a few do not.

Great carry on and day pack
Compact and convenient but holds an entire weekend! The day pack is awesome too! Great quality made of rip stock.

it's a poor design and falls over easily
Total junk. First of all, as others mention, it's a poor design and falls over easily. More significantly, also as others have mentioned, it doesn't last. The material is very thin and wore completely through after only a few (3 or 4) uses. To be more specific, the backpack part sags, hits the ground, and wears through very quickly. The only way to keep using it would be to patch it somehow - otherwise there's a huge risk of stuff falling out.

good material - however it won't stay upright
i received this yesterday and so far I am disappointed as the bag is falling over, with or without the zippered day pack. i stuffed it the packing it came with and hopefully it will "stabilize with its own legs". Unfortunately it is falling over on the handle side, which surprised me as other rolling luggage iI have falls over on the opposite side. i will give it a try this weekend around the house and update my review.

Nice bag for work and travel
Sturdy and easy to use, lots of compartments, easy to detach from the frame to wear as a backpack I would buy it again

Great carry on
Great carry on, very useful as a backpack, when rolling it is not an option

Utile
Je l’utilise pour mon travail. Je le trouve vraiment pratique. Le seul problème sont les bretelles du sac à dos qui aurait pu être plus rembourrées afin d’augmenter le confort.
