Review: Great for beginners / intermediate; great value - This keyboard is an excellent bargain for the price. Obviously any keyboard in this price range is not comparable to a real piano that costs thousands of dollars. However, compared to other keyboards in the under $200 range, the quality is great. The sound is good, and the pressure required to press the keys is good. One thing that was particularly important to me is the dimensions of the keys are pretty close to that of a real piano. I have seen some keyboards with miniature keys, but on this product the width of the keys large enough for adult fingers. This keyboard would be great for beginner and intermediate piano students. I took piano lessons for 10 years as a kid, and this keyboard is better than the one that I used for my first three years before my parents bit the bullet and bought a real piano. Since most piano students quit long before they reach intermediate-level music, I think this keyboard is a good financial choice to start with until you know that they're committed to stick with it.
Review: worth it - i bout this about a yeah and a half ago and it still works. All the keys are fine, nothing fell of or malfunctioned for me while using it. It a nice size and the color is pleasing to the eye as well. Though nice it doesn't have all the keys needed as traditional piano, for the price at the time i thought it was a good buy. When considering the the different sounds i can get out of this (which when playing around with it, can be hundreds of sounds that are fun to find) they have a wide variety to fill the sound you and your personality maybe looking for. They have multiple sockets so you can hook it up to the computer or headphones or what have you. Very practical in that sense. The keys kind of stick when playing but i think with more playing that problem will subside as time goes by.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ worth it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great enough for a starter, especially for the price.
*by M***R on September 4, 2012*

I bought the Huntington KB61 61-Key Portable Electronic Keyboard as a birthday gift for the boy, as he's expressed an interest in learning to play (and I don't play myself). I'm hardly an expert, but in this case, I'm willing to wager that it's a pretty good deal. I could have paid twice as much for some of the other starter units and a power adaptor (which comes with the KB61), but with money as tight as it is and just not being sure if the desire will be accompanied with some follow-through, that would just be a lot to pay for something. So far, it's received a good bit of use and sounds good for the most part. A few of the instruments (called voices here) sound a little off, but most sound very good (even the piano, which I was fearful wouldn't). It's also got full-sized keys, built-in beats/rhythms, headphone jack (the larger, stereo-sized jack like you'd find on a stereo and recording equipment) and audio-out (RCA). All-in-all, for the money, the Huntington KB61 is a great way to get someone started on a keyboard without hurting your wallet too terribly.
