Beware- this product requires a DVA-1 adapter (in addition to the hose with a guage) that costs an extra $13. You can not return the item once it's shipped to you.I have to wait a week to have it shipped so I am not sure how well this product works.

Ok - being that I'm inexperienced with A/C stuff, if you're going to use this with a manifold to fill a system, just a word of warning - I'm not sure how you can attach these without making a little bit of a (UV luminescent) mess - make sure you've got the right adapter first! I should have used the piercing style one as you can screw it on tight before actually piercing the top - my fault for not paying better attention and getting the proper tools.

Didn't realize this requires California adapter (can is self sealing and not pierce type can).

It really shows bright color where there is a leak. The only negative is that the color doesn't last long.

This item requires an adapter. The adapter you get is garbage and the whole setup is frustrating to us.

You have to love the price. I can attest to the performance as stellar. And it comes with dye.

Worked as expected.My air condition system stopped working. I suspected a slow refrigerant leak, and this helped me trace the leak and I was able to fix the problem.

Nowhere in the description does it state that this is the Commifornia can and it requires a special adapter that has to be purchased separately.
