It was given to me by my plumber, and now I do not want to be without it. It is described as a "cleaner/polisher" (or something like that...) on the bottle. So, it has some cleaning ability to it. But I always use it AFTER I clean, because it leaves a smooth surface which repels buildup for some time. I use baking soda, vinegar, and liquid water softener (Calgon) to wash my porcelin (sp?) tub. It takes time and elbow grease, but it will not harm the finish. Then, I dry it. Then I spray this on, rub it around with a microfiber cloth, and then use a clean dry microfiber cloth to polish it off. I use it on these surfaces: the tub, sink, formica countertop, marble tub surround, all faucets, and the mirror. I have NEVER found anything that will clean a mirror and be streak-free like this stuff. It leaves the faucets looking like new--again, like nothing I have ever used. It leaves a beautiful, shiny finish on all the surfaces I mentioned, and then they wipe down SO MUCH easier after use--especially the mirrors! We always wipe out and dry our showers and sinks after use, and that helps a lot. But this product is just fabulous to make the cleaned bathroom sparkle, and remain cleaner between deep cleanings. I am so glad Amazon is carrying this product because it can be hard to find (at least it has been for me). It may seem expensive, but I think it is WELL worth its cost. I could not recommend it more highly.
