Purchased product to store family videos after converting them and each was between 15 and 20 GB size. Able to only copy the 15MB file and after that, I kept receiving a message that the file had been corrupted or that the system could not handle it. So the file size it can handle is also limited. Tried to reset default parameters, format the drive to no avail. Wasted a lot of time trying to make it work to no avail. May be good for only up to 32 GB instead of 512 GB as advertised.

DO NOT BUY!!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!! If I could give this product negative stars I would. Does not work. I have spent days attempting to backup work files and each time the files disappear. I have tried every recovery method known to fix the problem with no luck. Complete waste of money!!!!! PS SOMEONE FRON CHINA TRIED TO HACK MY COMPUTER AFTER USING.

Easily attached to keychain for portability. It worked and showed 512GB when attached.

Punlic service announcement. Do not buy these. There's a reason they are sub $20 for claimed 512GB. What happens is they will show 512GB, but it's actually mounted in a way to show that as a trick in the operating system. IT IS NOT 512Gb. And it will be soooooo slow. It will just overwrite your data over and over after 100Gb or so. That means all your files will corrupt once you reach a certain size. Please don't buy. Don't buy them as gifts. Don't buy them for your kids. Don't buy them to put in a camera. You will LOSE all your data that you store on it.

A lot of masked drives are sold online by scammers. They are actually a much smaller drive that are masked to read 512gb on your device or computer. When full, they simply overwrite the older files. The user is unaware this is happening until they try to retrieve their files which are now gone.

I bought. Ibwas skeptical as for there was no brand name behind the product. But when I plugged into my computer it showed correct storage. I backed thousands of photos & videos that are precious to me & my family. They for no reason disappeared on this drive. I am lucky I had backed elswhere! DONT BUY!

My computer tells me this USB needs to be repaired and then it can't fix it. Mine holds 499 gigabytes instead of 512 does not hold

I transferred over a number of files successfully. Once the drive reached a certain capacity (not even close to the total, it was under 100GB), any files transferred after that amount became unreadable. I deleted them, transferred again, same thing happened. Tested the files on another drive to be sure they weren't just corrupted, but they were fine, so it wasn't the files. I even tried transferring completely different files and those also became unreadable. The drive is also extremely slow in transferring. Buy at your own risk.

Works OK but is slower than an external SSD

Plug is very fiddly and didn’t think it would plug in eventually did. Can’t see this product lasting well

Works with Windows 10. Does not work with XP, despite product details stating it would. Size is 499GB, not 512GB as advertised. Poor product and left feeling disappointed by misleading statements

This USB drive appears to have been flashed to allow it to seem to be a 512gb drive but in fact it’s not even close. And is effectively useless!
