Amazing! The sharpener succeeded with my favorite fabric cutting shears, which are very hard steel. Other, less expensive sharpeners have been a failure.

I have like a million pair of old scissors and hoped this would give them additional life. I followed the minimal directions, but didn’t see a noticeable difference in cutting. I can’t really recommend, but maybe you’ll have better luck!

I was a little skeptical when we first got this. My girlfriend does a lot of fabric work and has 5 or 6 pairs of Fiskars scissors. Ran one pair through a couple of times and was amazed at how nicely it cut through some heavy flannel. I did all her scissors, and they all cut like brand new. Did try it on two non-Fiskars and one sharpened and the other, not so much. They were a cheaper pair and probably not a great metal to sharpen. All in all, extremely pleased with the purchase!

No instructions, did not work when I used it as it looked like I should.
