The lamp exploded and failed after 187 days. Can't find a telephone number to contact manufacturer. Tried to email them and got no response. When deciding whether or not to purchase this lamp, I don't recommend using the warranty as a factor.***Update***Manufacturer sent a replacement bulb which worked well and resolved my issues. Thank you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You get what you pay for *by D***Y on December 31, 2020* Update: They sent me a new lamp, free of charge, and it works just like the factory original. We'll see how long it lasts. End of update.The last Sony replacement lamp that I bought, I paid $250 for and it, only lasted 1800 of the expected 3000 hours. So, I thought, what the heck, I'll just go with an aftermarket one for 1/3 the money. This Araca product description claimed 2000 lumens (factory spec) brightness. Also, of the many lamps offered, it was an "Amazon Choice." I was highly disappointed. The brightness was no where near the brightness of the Sony lamp and the picture looked washed-out and dim. So, I ordered another non-Sony OEM lamp, which claimed to have an OEM Phillips bulb. This one was 1/2 the price of the Sony lamp. It is as bright as the original and the picture quality is great. This makes me really wonder how a product becomes an "Amazon Choice.?" ### ⭐ Do Not Buy here *by P***N on June 9, 2025* They sent me a defective bulb.
