MUST HAVE
I've been using it for a year now and wow!! I love it. It's convenient and cleans quickly. Almost by the time i finish a shower the cup is nearly done boiling. I also throw it under cold water immediately after which seems to not affect the cup quality. I think it also has helped delay color discoloration on my cup and feels and looks cleaner than using liquid cleanser alone. Although sometimes i do add a few drops of the PH balanced cup cleaner into the water before i boil my cup and i think it has helped some with creating a fresher smell than just boiling alone. Although when adding the foaming cleanser, i do put the steamer in the sink because it then the foam boils over lol. I can't believe i didn't know a product like this existed. I think if anyone ever gets to owning a cup themselves, there really isn't much knowledge about extra essentials like dedicated period cup streamers to go with and make the best period cup experience possible. It only took me like 7 years to discover this product. Cup steamers are a godsend - just like cups.

Great alternative for steaming cups/discs
I bought this back when I was using a cup, and it was an easier alternative than what I was doing, which was snagging an unused disposable coffee cup from the office, boiling water, then letting the cup sit for a few minutes. Nowadays I even have an instant hot water spigot on my kitchen sink so could do this even more easily, but it’s just a pain, and I have to warn my husband and sons not to touch it. I like this device because I can just do it in my bathroom and be more discreet about it, plus I don’t have to remember to get a disposable cup. (I know some people just use regular mugs and stuff, and that’s fine, but I don’t want to do that.) I generally do this while getting showered and ready so that I’m in the room. I haven’t had anything dangerous happen with it, but I don’t like the idea of leaving a heating device unattended even though the auto shut-off has never failed. I have switched from my cup to the Cora disc, and unfortunately it doesn’t fit in the space in this device where you’d put a cup, so it ends up getting steamed while kind of folded. It works fine, though, and doesn’t appear to damage the disc. When the machine is done, I place the disc on a clean paper towel to let it air dry before putting it back in it’s little bag, and I unplug and air out the machine before putting it away under my bathroom sink. It’s worth the twenty bucks or so to have this and not have to do whatever in the kitchen.

So far, so good
I received this in the mail and immediately used it to clean four different cups of varying sizes. All the cups fit into the steamer well, although the smaller ones did tend to tip over during the steaming process so it's possible they aren't getting quite as clean inside. The manual that came with it says to clean the sterilizer before disinfecting cups but there are no instructions for doing that, and I did notice the water getting a little cloudy as I went on, so I wish it was clearer how we should be taking care of the steamer itself. Despite the description it doesn't really have an auto shut-off, so I wouldn't leave it unattended. It's also VERY easy to boil over, a few drops of water makes the difference between a gentle steaming and a scalding geyser pouring out of the top, so be careful! Overall I'm optimistic that this is a good purchase and I think it will help me avoid the hassle of boiling my cups on the stove.

so convenient!
i love how convenient this is. the thing about menstrual cups that kinda freak me out is just having to reuse them over and over again, and i sometimes fear they'll be kinda dirty. of course, rinsing and using mild soap is great, but i always had the desire to clean it better every time i take it out and put it back in. i really love this thing. it's super quick and easy and so convenient to put it right on your bathroom counter. it's also so adorable, it looks like a friendly little robot! anyway, i really love this and I'm so happy i bought it. the reason i wanted to write a review, actually, is because i had read a review about white stuff appearing in someone else's machine when they used it. i thought theirs may have been defective, so i didn't pay it any mind until i used mine and the same white stuff appeared! it kinda freaked me out, but i did quite a bit of digging online, and found that sometimes the water can leave a white residue if you live in an area with hard water. i live in a very hard water area so i figured that must be it. yes, there was a few white markings on my cup, but a quick rinse of the cup after steaming seemed to make them disappear. anyway, I thought i would share if anyone was drawn away from this product because of fear of the white residue! honestly i recommend this so much, boiling was such a pain lol

Works very well - clean in no time
I love this product. I can remove and clean my cup at night then heat clean it in this, and the use this product during my shower. By the time I am out of the shower my cup is all clean. I feel very clean- not sure if this makes a difference but my mind is more at ease. When I am done I can just put the device under the sink. It looks just like an oil defuser- if you are worried/squeamish about people noticing it. I always felt a little gross about cleaning a cup in my microwave or having a special little pot just for this purpose. I also would only do it the day before my period and after it was over. I can do this before and during and after because it is so easy. I have used a cup for years. I get a new one each year because they get gross and stained. So far it has helped with odor too.

2 1/2 years
Bought this when i got my first cup almost 3 years ago now. Its quick and easy. Wake up and clean it before work and at night before going to bed. Doesn’t take long at all. And sometimes when i forget i don't worry because it turns off. Definitely recommend makes the entire process easier. And so compact, so its easy to store.
