Do you even understand how hard it is to find something that accepts an HDMI signal and spits out a DVI signal? Exclusively, you find VGA. HDMI in, VGA out. Like $7, works perfectly, a billion alternatives to choose from if one brand is a bust. Easy as pie.What about HDMI to HDMI+audio? Yeah, well, they're probably 2-3× the price, but they exist and they work relatively well. It's a smaller use case but it makes sense, some monitors don't support audio and you need to split the Audio out, even though the cable supports audio. Makes sense.But HDMI to DVI + audio? You might as well resign yourself to frustration. It's going to be annoying. Tons of solutions that consist of cheap [redacted] products that probably do not work half of the time. I have sent back 4 different products that claimed to be the solutions I needed, but weren't. This works. It's not expensive, it's just $20 or so, but it's not nearly free like all of the other alternatives, but it works, it just works, plug it in and it works. Hallelujah. Tested DVI, HDMI, and VGA out, they all supported audio. It's magical.Is there latency? Picture degradation? Audio problems? Can't tell honestly, so I don't care.

This device actually works pretty well for the devices I use it for. I normally use this to connect my google slate to other monitors. Obviously I need an additional adapter to convert HDMI to type c but it actually works pretty well afterwards. I am able to connect my slate to two monitors without much issue. It outputs a good resolution and does not require any real additional power to be used. It only provides one of each type of plug so be aware of that if you are planning to plug into multiple monitors. I had to use VGA and DVI and it wasn't too hard to plug in. I also tried the AUX port and it actually provides pretty decent sound to the speakers I have. The box is a bit heavy if you use it with the plugged in cables so make sure you have it stationed on the table to ensure it does not damage the port. The device can be a bit warm as well when it is in use so make sure there is proper air flow. Overall I think this device is great. I use this to share a monitor, keyboard, and mouse between two macs. There is a lot to like about it.ProsEasy to hook up and a very handy and accessible switch.ConsYou can also switch the audio. This works, but there is a distracting hum perhaps because of ineffective shielding. I contacted support and they were polite, but not particularly helpful (I had the impression that this was a known issue, but I may have misunderstood).

I like that it has multiple ports for different devices. I'm able to connect 2 monitors and my TV screen all through different connection methods in this one piece. It was affordable for the quality and what it provides other retailers were trying to charge an arm and a leg for something with less functionality. I would buy again if needed.

This product lasted less than a year. I purchased this in Feb 2022 and in Dec 2022, the connection began to flicker and my monitor would lose the signal after a few seconds of use. While the product is easy to install and worked well for 10 months, I guess you get what you pay for that it stopped working within the year.

Worked right out of the box.Allows my Hdmi laptop to feed a vga signal to my 70" older flat screen. The TV lost its hdmi input due to a power surge caused by a lightning strike at the house. Also keeps my work laptop able to use a variety of monitors with different inputs.

Worked ok for a while. Bought this to connect a laptop to a larger screen in the home office. The device regularly takes some monkeying with to get the PC to recognize or send output to the monitor. So you end up disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI connector, then the USB power connector, then the DVI, the the USB connector, then finally the monitor comes to life. Until recently once going the operation was fine. It is being used for general home office use. However recently it has started flashing, or blacking out, for a half second every few minutes. Pretty irritating. but I appreciate the effort to provide a fairly useful adaptor at a reasonable price point. Just needs some reliability refinement.

This product only mirrored my laptop screen onto my monitors which isn’t what I wanted. However return was very simple so that was a good selling feature for me

Franchement rien a dire dessus parfait tout fonctionne maintenant je peux utiliser mes deux écran vga et dvi !!!!Je RECOMMANDE FORT !!!
