I bought the first book seperately and when he finished it he asked me if there were any more and even went so far as to look it up! This was the cheapest way to buy the rest so have given the first one to another reluctant reader to see if the magic works again. Well worth buying - he loves them! Review: Great present - Very good Xmas present for an 11 year old. He likes to read a good book and generally doesn't put it down when he starts. He has read 7 of them, something about the last story in the series wasn't as compelling for him to finish. All kids are individuals so preferences vary, but he was chuffed to receive them. The pack of 8 makes a great saving over the singles.
