The Shogun has d Review: Great for reluctant readers - If you have a young reluctant reader this is a great series. I bought the first book seperately and when he finished it he asked me if there were any more and even went so far as to look it up! This was the cheapest way to buy the rest so have given the first one to another reluctant reader to see if the magic works again. Well worth buying - he loves them! Review: Great present - Very good Xmas present for an 11 year old. He likes to read a good book and generally doesn't put it down when he starts. He has read 7 of them, something about the last story in the series wasn't as compelling for him to finish. All kids are individuals so preferences vary, but he was chuffed to receive them. The pack of 8 makes a great saving over the singles.

Brilliant Books
I purchased this book set for my nephew because he really enjoyed the Bodyguard book set written by the same author. In his words "these books are sick", my translation he thoroughly enjoyed these books :-)

Phenomenal first 7 books. 8. And 9 not so much.
Apart from the end of book 8 and the brand new book 9 I adore this series. I definitely recommend it. Out of the first 7 books itโs hard to pick a favourite but Iโll have to say I loved The Ring of Fire the most but as I said , the first 7 are all great to be honest.

Highly recommend seller and books
Books came neatly bundled and in excellent condition in a timely manner. This series is an excellent way to get your preteen kiddos away from the screen. Loved the writing style.
