j5create USB to HDMI Adapter - Dual HDMI USB 3.0 Multi-Monitor Cable

This is my second external video card from j5Create. The first was a USB 2.0 to HDMI version that I bought approximately five years ago. It is still working great, but I bought this one because I needed two outputs instead of one through one USB port. This thing works wonderfully! I have a total of five monitors, three of which are connected to two computers (personal and work) via a KVM switch. With the KVM switch, my docking station will work wonderfully for weeks at a time and then very stubbornly stop working no matter how many power cycles I do or in what order. It is extraordinarily frustrating. Finally I had enough. I use this card hooked up through my docking station's USB 3.0 port. Whereas my work computer had issues recognizing the monitors through the docking station and KVM switch, it has no issues at all recognizing them through this card and the KVM switch. It works perfectly and without any issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this product. If you need additional monitors for gaming or some other high-demand type use, this is probably not for you. But, if you are like me and just need additional monitors for Excel sheets and other boring business documents, it is perfect.

WHAT YOUVE BEEN LOOKING FOR I tried a couple adapters and hdmi to usb c cables for a dock that didnt work. This one worked instantly. Plugged it in and after 30 seconds of auto installing it extended my display on 2 additional monitors. My chromebook only has 1 hdmi port and a usb c port that is not thunderbolt. After a few refunds from amazon i came across this one and it’s literally plug and play! ALSO that usb C dock that didnt work, now works with this adapter. This thing is crazy good

This was used for a 2 Monitor Extension. For a total of 3 Screens to have multiple windows open. Example, Excel on one monitor, Powerpoint on another monitor and Call of Duty on Main monitor plugged into graphics card on Desktop. This device plugged into a USB 3.0 (BLUE) for 2 more Monitors. Read the instructions before just plugging this into your computer it will save you some hassle, these instructions are top tier as compared to IKEA stuff. If you are reading this, You may or may not find something cheaper, If it's under 30 bucks... You need to make sure the device is not an HDMI splitter, or an Automatic HDMI splitter as both of these devices have different functions and will not do what this device does. So yes it's a little pricey, but you're paying for quick and easy, It's worth it.

Would've given a 5, and actually this is the second of these that I purchase: one for home and one to travel. So the unit is reliable, but in both of them at times the image of one of the screens gets frozen , yet this is solved by unplugging USB from computer and re-attaching it. This is a small nuisance, but I figure it's worth mentioning. Otherwise quality and materials are good and allows me to work with 2 monitors in addition to my laptop, thereby making it 3 monitors which Apple doesn't natively support. So, I would probably buy again if I were to need yet another one.

After some messing around, this does not seem to work for macOS Catalina. However, it does work with macOS Mojave, and likely newer OS versions. The driver seems to only support Catalina 10.15, but nothing after that. So it likely needs to either be OS versions up to and including Mojave, or after Catalina to work properly on Intel Macs. It supports ultrawide monitors and TVs alike from my Early 2015 MacBook Air as shown in the photo. Hope this helps.

Ease of installation: Out everything I purchase this the only item what would work. Value for the money.

If you want to split two screens from a basic laptop via USB 3.0?? Buy this!!!!

Ce que je voulais, afficher avec 2 résolutions différentes, 1920x1080 sur écran HD et 2560x1080 sur un 2ème écran panoramique.

واللي جالي مش j5create وانا محتاج ده تحديداً عشان معظم إللي في السوق مش بيقضي الغرض المطلوب منه او بيبقي مش شغال اصلا

Abgesehen davon, dass das der im Moment einzige Adapter auf Amazon ist, der tatsächlich 2 externe Monitore GLEICHZEITIG erlaubt (es gibt viele Adapter hier, bei denen erst in der Beschreibung steht, dass nur 1 weiterer Monitor gleichzeitig angezeigt wird – also Achtung beim Kauf), ist das zugleich der einzige Adapter, der auf meinem ASUS Vivobook funktioniert. Dies liegt daran, dass der Vivobook einen intergrierten kleinen Multifunktionsmonitor/Touchpad hat, und in den Anzeigefunktionen immer als Zweitmonitor erkannt wird – hier blieb mir immer nur die Möglichkeit, einen externen Monitor direkt mit dem internen HDMI-Anschluss zu verbinden. Somit hatte ich keine Möglichkeit, 2 externe Arbeitsmonitore anzuschließen, da auch die Multifunktionsadapter mit usb c auf 2 hdmi, usb, usb-c etc. vom Laptop einfach nicht erkannt werden. Somit: Spitzenadapter, der wirklich funktioniert!! Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da erst gekauft.

Compact device that works well with my 4 year old laptop. I was able to extend laptop to 2 additional screens. I noticed that there is a big difference in quality of the HDMI and HDMI 4k. Would be good if they were both HDMI 4k outputs.

Excelente funciona de maravilla lo super recomiendo dure mas de dos meses buscando un adaptador con entrada USB porque mi ordenador es antiguo y no me funcionaba para separara las pantallas feliz de haberlos encontrados la instalación super fácil y el aparato funciona genial gracias por hacerlo posible.
