Review: Best Fitbit band. Period. - Ok, this thing is fantastic. Way better than even the reviews made it. Some people complained about the pins, but if you install the pins correctly, they are an exact fit. No problems at all. Installation of the pins and strap were easy once you figure out how the pins work. Everything on the Fitbit still works with the Fitbit being on your ankle. The heart rate monitor, step count, etc, all work as it does on your wrist. As a matter of fact, it’s actually more accurate because I do a lot of walking while also using my phone with both hands, so I am getting a more accurate step count now with it on my ankle. When you put it on your ankle, make sure the Velcro is aligned very well on the strap, otherwise Velcro will do what Velcro does and stick to other cloth material it interacts with such as a sock, sheets, etc. But it’s very easy to put the Velcro exactly how you wish. I am a watch wearer, so I hated the fact that I had to wear the Fitbit on my alt wrist. I like wearing beads and other jewelry on my wrist and the Fitbit was cramping my style. This is the only ankle strap that I could find that didn’t have any metal in it and was purely a strap. If I could give this 6 stars I would. It looks like this strap would work even for heavier people or even people that struggle with health issues where your ankle swells up. I am 6’1” at 201 lbs and I had no problem putting this on and I had a lot of slack still to go. The wear of this band is incredibly comfortable. I cannot barely tell that there is even something around my ankle. Like I said, it’s entirely made from material that should not give too many people allergic reactions. There is no metal and no silicone. It feels like polyester with Velcro or something like that. I am allergic to a lot of metals, so this works perfect. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Now I can get the benefits of wearing a Fitbit without cluttering up my wrist and I can enjoy my regular wrist watches and other wrist jewelry much better than having this ugly black thing as a part of all my outfits. P.S. - if I don’t want to wear it on my ankle, I should also be able to still wear this on my wrist. It’s very versatile. I am buying a second one of these just in case for some reason the first one I bought breaks or something like that. This is hands down the best Fitbit strap I have used, and I have gone through several. Review: Great fully adjustable band! - Product works great, I can wear my fitbit around my ankle at work now. Not sure how long it will hold up, it's fabric that seems like it will wear out over time. But it's lasted over a month now without any fraying. Keep an eye on the attachment springs! They shoot out of the band when you remove them. Lol also Velcro id's a little bit itchy if it's not situated just right, but the band is a pleasant soft microfiber.

Comfortable!
I love this band. It is super comfortable and very reliable. I have never had to worry about it coming off. My only complaint is the little metal clasps that hook into the watch come out too easily. I was trying to force this thing on over my shoe because I was lazy and it popped off the watch and the metal piece flew off leaving me in a panic to find it on the floor. Other than that I love this band. The comfort and use of it feels very similar to the Orangetheory Fitness tracker band.

Not durable
The velcro band is not very sturdy, comes undone all the time. My ankle isn't very big and when I try to secure it, there isn't enough area to securely fasten it. This item was cheap and it shows in the quality. Only plus is that it does have the correct connectors to attach to fitbit inspire 2.

Missing instructions
Updated Review: Whatever you do, don't try to reuse the pins from your factory band. The holes on this band are much smaller diameter than the factory band, and the pins will get stuck halfway in. I ruined the pin removing it. Only then did I see that there were spare pins in the package. The pins work, but they fit much looser than on the original band. It doesn't feel very secure. However, I am planning to wear it around my ankle and under a sock, so I'm not super concerned. Also, my only other option at this point is to stop wearing the tracker entirely, because the original silicone strap is giving me a bad rash, and I'm also allergic to most watch bands that contain metal. This is the only replacement band I've found that is fully non-silicone and non-metal at the skin contact and still allows the HR reader to work. That is if the pins don't really contact skin. We'll see. Final point. The Velcro strap ends are too thick to come out of the connector end. So, to get it on my ankle I have to extend the straps fully and slip it over my foot. That's fine, as long as I don't need to remove it while wearing shoes. We'll see. Original Review: Came without any instructions, and the instructions on here assume you've ever removed a Fitbit band. So I'm already annoyed and worried I'm going to break the connector. How tf does it come off.

Buy this if you want to lose your Fitbit.
The Velcro stopped sticking in less than a month. The fabric band stretched out and doesn’t provide enough surface for the Velcro to stay in place. It looks tattered and frayed. I’ve worn it for about 3 weeks total, without long pants or tall socks to cover it and cause extra wear. I’ve worn it only with shorts and barefoot/sandals/no show socks. It feels nice and soft and it’s very comfortable, but the quality is just the worst.

Perfect
I bought this one and another set as I wanted to start using my inspire immediately and hopefully at least one I would like. This was the cheaper of the 2, the other was about 11 dollars but had 2 bands (s&L) and I would only use L so it was really just the one band but it had many more reviews so I got it just in case this was not up to par. Well, this one is perfect, showed up faster than the other, so got to try this one first, this comes with pins and a sturdy breathable strap. I received the other one and it does not even come with 1 set of pins! Not sure how it got so many great reviews as I would expect a new band to come with everything to use it. Thank you for doing it right, this is a great band, same quality as the other one, plus pins, and cheaper. I hope others start to write reviews here as that was why I bought the other also, just due to the lack of reviews on this product.

Wish I would have bought it years ago
OMG, I have struggled for years with my fitbit! It's so uncomfortable to wear on my wrist when I'm working on my computer, so I take it off, then I walk around and don't have it on. And sleeping, ugh, half way through the night I'm switching wrists or tossing the darned thing on the night table. My work gives us financial incentive to log our steps and sleep, so I kept trying. Now this cheap, simple, comfortable band has fixed everything! I don't hardly remember it's there and I'm logging every step.
