We’ve been using the Milton 1 Litre Vacuum Flask regularly for both hot drinks and cold drinks. We had a smaller size flask but had to upgrade it for our trip to Europe. We mainly used it for storing hot water and coffee, it performed consistently well during the trip. The build quality is solid—it feels sturdy in hand, it's not light, and has a practical design. I think the stainless steel body is resistant to dents and scratches, and the lid doubles as a cup, which is a convenient touch. The flask is easy to open and close, and the leak-proof seal has held up well over time. Also, the flask comes with a pouch so it's very easy to carry around. The colour is grey and looked like a standard flask. In terms of performance, it kept drinks hot for 12+ hours, which is ideal for day trips. We’ve tested it with boiling water in the morning, and it’s still hot by late afternoon. It also works well for keeping cold drinks chilled, making it versatile across seasons. Cleaning is straightforward—wide enough opening for a bottle brush, but because it's quite long and a little difficult to clean the bottom of the flask. The 1-litre capacity is generous without being bulky, striking a good balance between portability and volume.

Small but holds a fair bit, has its own little holdall, which keep the flask warm.

I bought the 500ml (smaller) flask. The flip open lid smells awful. At first I thought it was the flask itself that was smelling but it is the lid. Having washed it several times it still has that awful smell and makes my tea smell horrible. I contacted the company twice using the "contact us" . However they have not responded to any message. I went via amazon and ended up getting a full refund. The flask is unusable due to the smell. I have not had this problem with other flasks. Perhaps it is the seal or the plastic that is used in the smaller flasks that is creating this awful smell. You also have to be extra careful, screwing the lid on as it can leak if not done correctly.

Keeps contents hot for several hours and for most of the day.

It is exactly what I wanted. It looks so nice in person and really does keep liquids hot for many hours. The bag that came with it was definitely a nice touch. It’s nice to be able to carry it around without having your hands full. The qualitative is also durable and it seals correctly. Great purchase!
