What I like: It's bright, you can choose between 5 different K ratings. (If you're putting it in a closet, consider using 2700K or 3000K. I used 3500K and it is a bit too bright) and the installation was relatively easy! The quick connect connectors are easy to use, just push the house's wires into the slot. What I didn't like: I'm used to using wire nuts. The pre-attached quick connect connectors are something I, as a complete beginner, was unfamiliar with. (But once I learned all I had to do was push the wire in, this was MUCH better than a wire nut!) Errata: 1. I replaced an existing closet light. As such, I had to cut away part of my ceiling. This was easy enough with the provided cardboard template. Just something to be aware of. (Now I've got a mess in my closet to clean up!) 2. The color temperature switch is on the outside of the J-box which makes changing the color temp easy. I've seen other recessed lights that these switches are inside the J-box. 3. The J-box has punchouts. But I didn't utilize that, preferring to route the wiring through the plastic tabs. I used a flathead screwdriver to pop open the plastic tab.

This is a game-changer. It literally takes all the negativity out of installing downlights. The product's plug-and-play nature is helpful. Additionally, it allows you to adjust the Kelvin with no special knowledge. It is priced more than fairly. This is a must-buy

I bought it as a spare to make the others in my kitchen which was remodeled last April. All of the originals are still working fine but as Home Depot no longer carries this model I thought I better get it while I can. Great fixture with plenty of light output. They do have switchable warmth, from cool white to bright white.

Pay attention. The listing says it's a six pack but that's actually an addon option. I'd you order with the default selections you only get one, however that being said the light is super easy to install and very bright. I love it. Can't weight to her 8 more to use in my living room. And kitchen.

Very bright lights with easy installation. The switches for brightness and temperature on the lights is a very nice feature. Lights can be dimmed without any issues with Lutron Diva dimmer Have both 6 inch and 4inch version of this product. Very bright and sturdy. Used 6-1/4 and 4-1/4 hole saws for them - fits ideally

I bought 7 different models across 5 different brands before choosing to buy 22 of them for my basement remodel. I ended up with these. There was one model I liked more, but they were twice the price and these happened to be on sale. So I went with #2. It's been a year or so now and I feel like I made a great choice. The light pattern/diffusion is excellent. Shadows are reduced. Since I was doing new construction (relative to drywall and all that), I also bought the mounting plates. Which made it super easy for the drywall team to get the holes exactly right. The light electrical box mounts to these. What a great system. The color temp choices are all in the desirable range. No bizarre super blue or deep orange nonsense like I saw in a few other choices. The bezels are super thing and look nearly flush against the drywall. The brightness can go very, very low. Like night light level low. Although at the 1-2% range they are not evenly bright (not each light is the same brightness). But I never put them that low. Just noting it in case you like VERRRY dim and need them to be even. I am using Lutron Caseta smart dimmers with these lights and that is working very well.

Perfect replacement for older flush mount light in our hallway. Product is excellent. Easy to install. Good value. Arrived quickly.

Love these lights

The living room has always been pretty dark even with lamps. Decided to try these lights in a valted ceiling (popcorn finish). Only used 2 so far and what a huge difference! Floods the majoritg or the room without any shadows or dark spots. Running on 3000K, it makes the room feel nice and cozy. Really impressed with how easy it was to install these lights. Will be buying more for future projects. Also have it on a Lutron Diva dimmer switch that works flawlessly.
