Yellow Dog UK Dog Vest - "I NEED SPACE" (Large)

I got one for my old Staffy who isn't good with other dogs. I was sick of other dog owners letting their off lead dogs come up to us. I wear a tabard from this company with the same message and it's made a great difference. People can see us coming a mile off and give us a wide birth. Anything that helps my old dog have a relaxed walk is priceless to me. It's a beautiful fit with plenty of adjustment on the belly strap and elasticated across the chest. My dog is totally comfortable wearing it. I definately recommend getting one if your dog has any issues at all, even if it's in training, this company has text to suit everything.

Nice and bright, great size for my tall, 40kg labrador. Easy to get on with its velcro fastening and it stays on! I use it over a halti harness

I bought extra large because my dog has quite a fat neck and is a bit of a barrel shape so a large doesn't always fit. Although I probably would have got away with a large on this occasion. I will be altering the elastic at the front slightly and maybe the waist band for a snug fit but that is not the sellers fault. My only gripe really is that there is not hole for a harness attachment, but as I am getting the sewing machine out anyway it is not that much of a problem. It looks well made and the fabric is nice and light. The wording is large and clear but no doubt I will still get the odd idiot who thinks he is a dog whisperer and almost looses his fingers. I say 'he' because it is always a man! Overall, I am very happy with the product and would buy from this seller again.

This is a great vest, came up maybe a bit smaller than expected but it's light and my labrador (size L) didn't mind. I know my dog is reactive and we stay away from others but sometimes we can't avoid busy places. I use it when we are in busy areas so that I don't feel the need to constantly explain why my dog is unhappy about people looking at her or trying to pet her or letting their dogs come up to her. What a shame the MASSIVE lettering was still not big enough for someone to let their dog come right up :( No stars for them.

This jacket works a treat. People with their dogs are more respectful towards our young dog now. They do give her space, which is what she needs. She’s not happy when dogs run up to her. So now we and our dog are more confident on our walks. Very happy with purchase. We bought the large coat that fits our staffy perfectly.

We use the bib on my senior rescue staffie who is not happy when dogs approach him. We don't know his background but we have a suspicion he may have been made to fight with other dogs, and he is such a gentle loving , loyal dog to his hoomans that it is heartbreaking. Even though we always put him on his lead when there are other dogs around, you always get people allowing their dogs to come and see him, and sometimes they seem to torment him which he is quite understandably not happy about. They say ' my dog is fine , he's friendly'. The bright bib with large letters 'I NEED SPACE' helps other people be aware that they need to keep their dogs away. It gives us more peace of mind that Bruno can have his walk in peace.

Ideal .washable so if gets wet or dirty can wash.easy to put on and helps when walking to give him space

This is honestly a GREAT way of warning other dog owners: I've just taken on this hoodlum rescue & discovered I was lied to, as he is exceedingly reactive to other dogs :( So lots of work in progress at the moment. Only (minor) criticism is that altho it is a good fit on his neck - the velcro under his belly is very loose, could've done with a bit more velcro on the strap there to ensure a better fit, but I can rectify that with adding some to it. (Perhaps he's just an odd size!) 100% recommend
