It’s a bit weighted but not heavy. Just bean bags that fit around your neck. I love it. Use it all the time for stiff necks, tension headaches, or just because it feels great.

What is its mass? Mine is filled with corn and it too heavy at the moment.

Not sure what the unit is filled with. It smells like burnt corn. I wish it would retain heat longer. It is heavy but all in all it does eventually releave my pain.

Can you heat in the oven or maybe even put in plastic bag in hot water if do not have a microwave?

I definitely do not think you could heat this in the oven. It would take a long time to test in a plastic bag in hot water as it is really dense. To me the microwave is the only option.
