They were as hard as a rock!
I love Peeps but when I receive a box of them that is HARD, I know they have been on the shelf too long. You might have employees check food stuff to see if it's still fresh. That's also true of Tootsie Roll Midges.

I was excited to have some seasonal items out of season, but I didn't know they would be three seasons old. They were so hard that I couldn't eat a single one and I had to throw them all away.

My husbands cousin thought these were hillarious. Her daughter took them back to college. They appreciated the humor due to they just got 12 "real" chicks.

Not Happy
I ordered these to add to my center pieces for a baby shower I was throwing. When i got them they had sent me yellow instead of pink and they were stale. I would have been better off buying them in the store at easter and then leaving them in my fridge till sept.
