Make your Flagpole Tangle Free with Never Furl No Furl 1" inch

Meh
Not at tangle free as I has anticipated. The bearing surfaces between the nylon bushings should have had a much higher polish put on them to reduce friction. As it is, I can feel a rough texture on the bearing surfaces. My Valley Forge Perma-Nyl 4'x6' Nylon U.S. Flag gets wound around the pole in a moderate breeze in spite of using the Never Furl kit. Maybe it's the angle of my flag pole, weight of the flag, bushing drag or all three. I'll I know is I shouldn't have to put emery cloth the bushings to make them slide better or keep adjusting the angle of the flag pole in order to keep my flag in dignified display.

Be sure to check the edges that contact each other before installing
The two main tubes kept getting hung up on the spacers that hold them in place until I realized each had a rough edge and a smooth edge that faced each other. I disassembled them and put them back in place with the smooth sides together. After that, the flag stopped wrapping around the pole. These were purchased to replace the same thing that had been in place for several years. The old hooks had cracked.

Partially effective
We've had the feature for almost a year now. Kind of disappointed in the performance, working sometimes and not at other times. Fortunately our flag is on a pole beside the front door and I am able to untangle it fairly easily. But the feature was supposed to make it unnecessary.

Probable wouldnt buy it again
They had quality. But I thought the flag wouldnt get tangled...but it still does. The original hardware that came with the flagpole works just as well.

Does not work
There are probably 10 versions of this product out there. This is one of the better ones in terms of materials. But, after you watch the wind wrap the flag around the pole yet again you realize it does not fix the problem. My solution? Lowered pole to horizontal and went to using the circular banner with long streamers.

Good concept but having troubles getting it to work properly
The product is well made and is a good concept. However, the fit on my pole required filing out the inside of the flag attachment parts in order to allow movement. I also had to use emery sand paper to smooth off the pole so that the attachments could spin. I'm still having a problem with the flag wrapping around the pole so I'll try another round of filing & sanding.

Works better, but don't expect "no furls"
I've been using this a little over a week on an angled flagpole in windy Colorado. The flag does not furl as much as it used to, but I've still had to untangle it twice in that time period. In the old setup, I would have had to untangle it twice that many times. So it's better but by no means flawless.
