This is quite different from the "normal" store-bought toothpaste, but I like it a lot better. First off, the consistency is thick. When they say toothPASTE, this is really a toothpaste. Guess what though? Because of that, I think it does a much better job cleaning. When it's on your toothbrush, it's ON. It's not going to fall off, and it's not going to make a mess all over the cap. I like the thicker paste - it makes it more difficult to use too much.The flavor is not nearly as overwhelming as other toothpaste, and THAT is a huge plus. Let me explain - it's not that other toothpastes don't leave your mouth tasting fresh, but if you can do the job with half the flavor, isn't that worth trying? To me, this toothpaste by Immunotec makes my mouth feel much fresher afterward, because bad breath isn't just being masked or covered over. This leaves behind a fresh, slightly minty feel, but a baking soda CLEAN feel above all that. As far as whitening, I've only used this product for a few days but I do feel that over time, the baking soda could significantly reduce and remove any stains left by my daily coffee habit.Natural - this is a fluoride-free toothpaste. What does that mean? We're bombarded with fluoride on a daily basis - it's in our other dental products, it's in our drinking water, it's in most other store-bought toothpastes. Do we need it? Hell, we don't really know. For those of you who don't want big brother telling you how to treat your teeth, this is a fantastic alternative. I've tried Tom's natural fluoride-free toothpaste and I'd consider this to be a great comparison. In my opinion, the toothpaste does not have a taste. Compared to other store brands, it does not have that minty taste or burning aftertaste. The toothpaste does make my teeth and mouth feel clean afterwards and doesn’t leave behind a feeling of residue. After 3 days of use, I did receive a compliment on how white my teeth were. The toothpaste is very thick and is definitely a paste. I will continue to use and I hope to see more results.
