Protec MX304CT Alto Saxophone Contoured MAX Case, Black

My daughter asked for a backpack saxophone case and this one had great reviews and is high quality. It has a zipper closure and is very lightweight with a front pocket to hold extra reeds and pencils. You can hide the backpack straps if you just want to carry it like a normal case, so the versatility is perfect. It is molded on the inside with a soft material and it is the perfect amount of stability for the Yamaha alto sax. It honestly is not much bigger than the saxophone itself, so she is very happy with it!

Great case. Fits our Vito alto sax perfectly. I was concerned since so many others said their sax was too big, so I measured our's: 22.5" long, 9" wide, and the bell is 4.75" across. People didn't lie when they say that the outside pocket doesn't fit much; we can get our neck strap, cork grease and extra reeds in with no problem, but it will look very bulky/overcrowded if we take the shoulder strap off the case and shove that in there as well. The backpack straps are well concealed behind a piece of material secured with Velcro (sounds cheap, but it's not), which means they're easy to get out for use and easy to put back when you don't want them. And the detachable shoulder strap is well made and easy to attach/detach. I love that there are 3 ways to carry this (handles, shoulder strap and backpack), and it's considerably lighter than our traditional case. Very well made and solid; we're not compromising on protection for convenience with this.

I is absolutely amazing, you can put there everything, and you need only this case and nothing more to take with you, notepad, cables , microphone, notes, shoulder straps, everything you want you can take with you in one case, very good material, color and quality, thank you , it’s not very heavy but not very lightweight, it’s between , thank you 💜

This is a very good saxophone case. I did a lot of research both online and in the music shop and landed with this case. The functions are very well thought out and my son‘s favorite part is the pocket in the back to hold his music folder so he only needs one hand to carry everything. He uses the handles and the backpack function. Extremely lightweight especially compared to his old case. We are very happy with this Saxophone case.

Well made and efficient. My Alto sax fits in easily but securely. There is really good padding all around although the outer covering is canvas. I believe this case will and does a good job of protecting the instrument. May not hold up if thrown off a building roof, but, I don't usually do that. It has a top pocket that is good for holding your reeds and other small items of that type. You have different options for carrying. As a backpack type for which the back straps are perfect, over the shoulder or by either of the two carrying handles, one at the top and the other along the side. When it is on my back I hardly know it is there.

Easy to carry and lightweight. Several ways to carry including backpack style. Case can become dirty as can everything that is cloth, so it's hard to clean but it still outweighs have to carry a bulky hard case around.

The alto sax fits in it like a glove! Tight and secure. The original Yamaha hard shell case is too heavy. Our daughter has expressed so many times how happy she's now that she can easily carry her sax. I was concerned not being able to find this case in town. Our other daughter has a trumpet case of the same brand (bought locally). These cases are high end and worth every penny.

Love love this case!!! I’m using it for my Selmer Mark VI I was worried it would not be protective enough, but it is great. Easy to carry and holds everything except my music. None of the compartments are large enough. I’m fine with that 👍👍
