A: The DPF1C can be replace by the DPG1C but not the DPF4T.

**Q: Can this work with linak dl ic systems, i.e. desks with integrated controllers, or via cbd6s controller only?**
A: Yes, the DPG1C will work with the LINAK DL IC (integrated controllers) systems.

**Q: Will it work with ikea bekant desk?**
A: This desk panel only works with LINAK components.

**Q: How can this be plugged in without removing the table top? The cable doesn't seem to detach from the desk panel.**
A: The new switch comes with a new wire and RJ45 connector. Check if your old switch can be detached from the control box. Then replace it by the new switch. Hope this helps you

I have the IKEA Idasen sit/stand desk and after a little research found out that this controller would work with the desk. The connector is the same jack and worked like a charm. The only think different is you need to have a more spaced out screw hole to mount it under the desk. It pairs up perfectly with the Linak Software for the reminders plus this will flash with reminders too. The really killer feature of why I went to this was the double click/tap feature. It works like a charm, you just have to make sure you enable the feature in the Linak software. I use the desktop version of the software as it pops reminders on the computer when to stand. If you have the IKEA Idasen, you would be smart to upgrade to this as it would make your good desk a great desk with a high end feature.

I was frustrated with the "stock" version of the IKEA desk control because of limited functions and I had to have the bluetooth connected device active to adjust the desk. This "upgrade" gave me the ability to set my favorite locations and now with a "double-tap" I can get the desk to go the the correct location without having my desktop of phone connected to the control. Additionally, the reminder feature is great to prompt me to change positions during work. It was literally plug and play replacement. The only difficulty I had was getting my fingers in the small hole on the desk to plug it in.
