I have had this tablet for about a year now and I can confidently say this is an amazing tablet! It a wonderful start out if you’re looking for a larger screen but don’t want to drop $1-2k on the higher name brands. I’ll give a couple pros and cons about the tablet and hopefully it’ll help those who are deciding if they want to get one! Pros! *Large screen! - I’ve have used the 12.9 iPad Pro for almost 6-7 years, but always wanted something larger. This screen suits my needs so well! I don’t like to use shortcuts so I’m able to adjust my program to accommodate my tools and windows. *Sensitivity - I was worried with it being a lower cost tablet that there would be some sensitivity issues…nope!! It’s perfect! The pressure can be adjusted to your desire as well, but I pretty much left it how it came out of the box! The is no lag, but I will say it depends on your computer. I noticed I got a bit of a lag on my iMAC, but that’s because it’s old and I had to unselect screen recording to have it optimized better. But I had no issues when I used it in my Windows gaming Laptop. Just keep in mind on your processor. That my only concern on that part. *Price- Is there more to be said?! It’s at an amazing price for someone wanting to start out on a larger screen but not sure if they want to go and drop over $1K on the name brand tablets. I will say I have use a Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 during a convention to try it out, and while obviously there are some differences in quality and performance, the Gaomon PD2200 performs insanely well for its price. *Accessories - tablet is build with its own stand and already installed so no assembly required or having to purchase a stand separately! You get the display pen along with additional tips and a holder for your pen! As I’ve mentioned I have had the tablet for nearly a year and have yet to change the tip yet. But I will say I don’t use it very often as life is busy, but I will put a guess if you use the tablet everyday you may just need to change the tip out every 3-4 months depending how much pressure you use. Now to the Cons: I don’t have many but the couple I would put out would obviously be involved on how it’s priced. You get an amazing and large sized tablet for the fraction of the name brands, but it’ll come with its downsides. First would be the buttons- the buttons to turn the tablet on/off are not synced properly so I have to maneuver around to have to turn off the tablet when I’m done. It gets annoying especially when it takes more than a minute to figure out the right spot to press. The short cuts being on the top right our a bit annoying. I wish they were at the bottom but like I mentioned earlier the screen is large enough that you an adjust your tools to your liking that suits your needs or you can just use keyboard shortcuts. This is also something to keep in mind if you’re a left hand drawer. It’ll be more difficult to select the shortcut keys. Display Match - Trying to display match was a nightmare. It took a lot of time and effort to get it remotely similar. I would suggest going to your computer graphics settings and set it that way. Trying to adjust it from the tablet itself is difficult and when the buttons not being syncs properly, it makes it even more frustrating when trying to adjust the display settings. I have used this both on Windows and Mac, and Windows took a little more time but iMac has preset settings to match with it, and it made it a little easier but it’s not perfect. So just something to keep in mind when drawing. Your colors will be off so always reference from a screen you’re used to and the tablet for best results! That’s all I really have. It’s still an amazing tablet if you’re starting out on wanting a larger screen! I love this tablet despite its quirks and really happy with my purchase!!

This is a low end drawing tablet for sure. But I have no artistic talent at all. I just wanted something to do when I was bored. I got this and a copy of Paintstorm Studio. And then I spent thousands of hours falling down the rabbit hole. First of all, the tablet was super easy to set up. If I remember right, I had to update the firmware, but then it was pretty much plug-n-play. it did require a calibration, but that was just touching the stylus to 9 dots on the screen. The tablet app itself has a lot of customization (kind of). You can go app by app across your PC, and set the tablet's buttons to perform certain actions per program/app. I am one of the old people that got computers forced on them against their will, so it always seemed too aggravating a way to waste my time. But it is there for the more PC enthused. The biggest problem that I have with the tablet, is that the buttons are on the left and right sides. This is simply a stupid design decision. It means that whether you are left handed or right handed, you WILL be getting errors and messing up your own painting at least occasionally. Meanwhile, there is plenty of space for all the buttons across the top bezel. A place where my hand NEVER end up. A stupid design decision. That is a minor gripe. I very rarely give 5 stars. My tablet was compatible with a Windows 10 PC 16GB of RAM and and Nvidia 2060. That 2060 ran Paintstorm studio and this tablet brilliantly. The company claims 8192 levels of sensitivity. But touch the screen with a gnat, and it's at level 1620, so I don't really pay attention to that. It's matte black, and displays in 1080p What I did was to stream Bob Ross, and watch him paint for 5 minutes, and try to copy him. I can't even begin to guess at how big of a part of my daily life this tablet became. I quit playing music for months while I played with this thing. I've had more fun with this than the last four gaming consoles I've purchased combined.

After doing traditional art for close to 40 years, I'm trying out digital art for the first time. I made the mistake of buying a drawing pad without a screen and found it impossible to draw that way. A friend recommended one with a screen, and this one was in my price range. After looking at several models and their reviews, I felt this one would be a good fit. For what it is, it's fantastic. A nice starting point for a serious artist who's new to digital media. Some of the pros: 1. Extremely easy to set up. I installed the driver first, then plugged it into my Windows 11 laptop and it was working immediately. Zero hassle. I do see reviews here that say otherwise, and I highly recommend installing the driver before you connect it to your computer. 2. The screen is a great size and you can use the buttons on the pen to remove the toolbars (I'm using Krita) to give yourself more screen space. 3. It is very easy for me to produce art on this pad. Now, my art is nsfw so I can't share it here, but I'm really happy with how far I can zoom in and create ultra fine details. 4. I don't know if the drawing glove to keep your skin off the screen is a new concept but it comes with this pad. The glove seems to be one size fits all, and the fact that it fits on my ridiculously small hand is a god-send. Cons: 1. Getting the screen display to match my computer screen is difficult. Some colors match and others don't. For example, on my laptop screen dusty pink looks terribly muted, but looks far brighter on the drawing pad. So there's some extra effort on my part to check colors before applying them. 2. The pen doesn't seem to be calibrated for left handed drawing. I'm ambidextrous but I prefer to draw left handed, and I have to turn the pad at bizarre angles to get the point to match the circle and draw where I want it to go. This means I'm using odd hand positions and occasionally my lines look choppy and have to be redrawn a couple times. And other times the pen draws exactly where I touch the pad's screen like it never happened. Make it make sense! 3. The side buttons have a learning curve that I haven't learned yet and maybe I will someday. Moving through the settings menu is a pain at times, until you figure out what the buttons do and hit them at the right moment. 4. I'm not a fan of how heavy a piece of equipment this is, and it makes storing it somewhere difficult. I currently leave it sitting on my printer when I'm not using it, because I don't want to sacrifice a whole shelf for this big drawing pad. FYI this thing is not 11 inches, the screen is, but the whole thing is MUCH larger than that. Do I recommend this? Yes, I do. I think for the price it's worth it and you will be able to use it to create some amazing art.

I should start out by saying this tablet is for use with a computer and it has zero standalone functionality at all. The tablet itself has proven to be quite durable as I draw with it almost every day. The pen is really great and I really love that it doesn't use batteries, it's just ready all the time. The tablet is fairly light and compact so it can be moved easily when I'm finished drawing. Pen accuracy and pressure sensitivity are great. The customizable side buttons are nice to have also. Downsides: The screen display is not very good. It does not provide accurate color and it is locked to a low refresh rate. It's about 30hz (the screen really isn't a big deal for me because I am looking at my main monitor most of the time) It requires a USB, HDMI, and external power connection which is just a lot of wires to deal with for one item.

I'm a professional artist, working with bitmaps (Photoshop, Corel Painter), vectors (CorelDraw), and 3D assets (Maya), and usually work on my Wacom Cintiq that's connected to my workstation. I bought this tablet to use with my laptop, to allow me to do art for fun in my free time, while lounging on the couch. This is my first budget art tablet, and I really didn't know what to expect. I have now used it for a few hours for vector art in CorelDraw and to paint in Painter, and over all, I've found it to be very usable. I would definitely buy it again, knowing what I know now. PROS: - Small and easy to use while hanging out on my couch, drawing for fun; - Rubber pads on back of tablet add traction, so it can be used on an inclined surface; - Color rendering of this screen is good. Absolutely no complaints. If your art is primarily intended to be viewed on screens, you'll be happy with the results. I don't have a color calibration tool, so take this with a grain of salt. - Worked exactly as described, even before I installed the Gaomon driver (I had Wacom driver installed already, and it didn't seem to interfere with Gaomon functioning). Once I had the driver, I was able to customize the pen and shortcut buttons. - Appears durable and well-built. I've been using it as a secondary monitor next to my laptop daily, and drew on it for a few hours over the past two weeks, and didn't notice any issues. Buttons feel solid, there are no dead pixels, and the tablet as a whole feels solid as well. I haven't tried sitting on it, but normal stresses of carrying it under my arm together with my laptop haven't resulted in any damage. The stylus didn't leave any marks on the glass either. I can see this tablet lasting for a few years. - Super-affordable. I bought this tablet from Amazon Warehouse and paid 99 bucks for it. At that price point, this tablet offers excellent value. Even at full list price, it only costs as much as a few pads of high-quality drawing paper, and less than a set of 72 Copic markers. CONS: - Stiff cables, and too many of them for the year 2022. The tablet has two cables that connect to your computer: an HDMI and a USB-A. Especially the HDMI one is very stiff and makes it difficult to move either the laptop or the tablet without tugging on the cables and moving the other device. If used on a desk, that's probably not a huge issue, but for my use case, it's a noticeable inconvenience. - Cable the third is for the power supply and it's not separate from the data ones, but rather is part of a wire harness with the other two, coming off the end that's closest to the laptop, so this limits where you can plug it into an outlet. Again, not a huge gripe, and I have used a small extension cable to get the power to the tablet, so easy to work around. - In 2015, this would have been fine, but in 2022, all of the data and power needs of this tablet can be served with a single USB-C cable, which can be much more flexible, and also easily replaceable. The power/data wire harness that the tablet comes with isn't easily replaced, because there is no independent power input on the device, only mini-HDMI and USB-C. Given my use case, I just have to be extra-cautious when using the tablet on the couch, with the laptop off to one side. - Relatively small screen to work on. On one hand, great form factor for doodling in my free time, but I couldn't use it for work full-time. YMMV of course. - Noticeable parallax (the perceived difference between where you have the tip of your pen and where the cursor actually appears on-screen). In the middle of the screen it's mostly fine, but the issue becomes more and more pronounced as you move towards the edges of the screen, to the point where I routinely miss the scroll bars when I try to move the drawing I'm working on (up-down or left-right). I have calibrated the screen, but the fundamental issue is that the glass between the LCD display and the tip of the pen has thickness, and it becomes more noticeable as the pen moves farther away from the point directly in front of your eyes. To say it in a different way: On this tablet, the cursor is always precisely under the tip of the pen if you look at it straight from the top, but as you draw, you move your hand all over the surface of the tablet, and as you're looking at it a bit more from the side, you can see more and more of that glass separating your stylus from the image on the screen, making it *look* as if the cursor position was off, and it's distracting. Wacom does some magic to compensate for that (but it's not a fair comparison at 10x the price difference), and that's why for my full-time work I'm sticking with them. For relaxed doodling, this isn't a problem, and I'm absolutely happy with the tablet. It's also possible that if I used this tablet for more hours daily, I'd get used to the parallax. Either way, not a deal-breaker. To reiterate: I would totally buy this tablet again, and I'm happy with the purchase.

Bought this to replace my trusty PD1560 - which still works like a champ, for what it's worth; I just felt it was time to treat myself to something a little bigger, and I couldn't be more pleased with the 2200. I was initially worried that it might be TOO big - but that's not the case at all. I would say it's actually the perfect size - big enough to have lots of room to work comfortably and to be easy on the eyes and wrists, but not so big that you're wasting space on the screen or taking up too much precious real estate on your desk. The stand has a nifty feature where it can sort of fold down and let the monitor sit directly on the desk, which I didn't really understand at first, but turns out it provides more options for positioning and lets you get it exactly where you want it. The screen is very nice. It's only 1080/full HD, which also worried me a bit as I'm so used to 4K on my other monitors, but actually the display looks pretty darn crisp and the resolution hasn't bothered me at all. (Don't get me wrong, when Gaomon comes out with a higher resolution pen display in the future, I'll be the first to buy it - but until then, this is absolutely fine and I have no complaints!) (...Oh, and for the other weirdos like me who prefer to draw on glass rather than a textured surface - this display comes with a matte textured screen protector pre-attached, but it can be easily removed to reveal the smooth glass underneath. There's nothing wrong with the screen protector, of course; it's actually a very high quality one and it's hard to tell that it's not part of the display itself at first glance...but it does blur the display somewhat, as all matte surfaces do. Removing the screen protector makes a HUGE difference in the crispness of the display, and I personally happen to prefer better clarity over a textured drawing surface. I've also been drawing on it daily for a week or two and have yet to notice a single scratch on it despite not having a screen protector.) The drawing experience is excellent - the pen is nice and sensitive, which is great for people like me who draw with a light hand. Parallax is virtually non-existent when you find the correct viewing angle. The pen feels nice to hold, with a silicone grip and two easy to use buttons; although it is extremely light, which makes it feel a little bit cheap (but probably helps with fatigue in the long run). LOVE the fact that it doesn't need to be charged. As for the hotkeys...well, they work exactly how they should. No problems there. But I don't use them. For one reason, because they're at the top of this (large) display and I have short arms, so constantly reaching up to find a button is a little tiring. The other reason is the buttons themselves. They're not illuminated, which they really, really REALLY should be since they're not raised or textured at all and are impossible to find without looking. (And man, you have to look hard, because they pretty much disappear completely into the glass even in bright lighting conditions.) Basically, the flush buttons make for a very clean and minimalistic appearance to the screen, but it severely diminishes their actual usability. The last thing I'll mention is the cord setup. I am SO HAPPY that this particular display comes with three long INDIVIDUAL cords instead of the stupid 3-in-one cord that so many of these drawing tablets feature anymore. Maybe this only applies to me, but my (rather large) laptop has the USB and HDMI ports on opposite sides, and the 3-in-one cord is never long enough to reach both. With these individual cords I have no problems and I can arrange my laptop and the pen display exactly how I want them in my workspace. I sincerely hope that in the future Gaomon and other manufacturers consider the fact that the 3-in-one solution does *not* work for everyone. To sum up, the PD2200 is another awesome offering from Gaomon, a great value for the money and I would absolutely recommend it 100%.

I've had this thing for 7 months now. Right off the bat, I found it impossible to correctly calibrate it. The process is to click at the center of crosshairs, around the screen. No matter how precisely I clicked the exact center of the crosshairs, no matter how I held my hand, and no matter how many times I did it, the cursor would never center itself under the pen. It always had an offset, drifting further away from the cursor to the right the further to the right side of the screen I moved the pen. The alignment didn't keep, either. It would frequently go even further out of alignment, and require me to scrub the pen over the left side of the screen for a moment before it returned. I tried to keep going with it, despite this, because I was able to split the difference and get it 'close enough' by purposefully clicking off to the left of the crosshairs on the right side of the screen. I had to repeat this process several times, as the up-and-down calibration would go off and on while calibrating it. As I mentioned, I got it 'close enough' and started using it. Right off the bat, I noticed that the pen pressure would periodically stop working correctly; delivering only a single instantaneous click when I pressed down with the pen. This would happen every 5-10 minutes while using the tablet, and each time required me to wait for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before it would begin working again. Note that this happened in multiple programs: Photoshop, GIMP, Blender and some others. I was still too enraptured by having an actual screen under my pen to get rid of it for seven months, however. Until just two days ago, I was willing to live with these issues. What changed was that two days ago, the cursor began wildly bouncing back and forth across the screen, left and right, whenever I brought the pen close. This happened after I had been using it for 10 minutes. I troubleshot the problem, updating drivers and restarting my computer, and it seemed to be fixed. For 10 minutes. This continued to happen as I tried multiple troubleshooting steps. I rolled back my drivers to multiple earlier versions. I uninstalled windows updates. I wiped and reinstalled the drivers and software. Nothing worked. In it's current state, it is useful for less than 10 minutes of work before it becomes completely worthless as a graphics tablet, until I restart my computer. The plugs are on the 'right' side of the screen, and stick out quite a bit. The cables are thick, and require sufficient space for curving. The cables are also on the shorter side, leaving me -a left-handed artist- with almost no room in which to use the tablet. The screen quality is poor, and at any viewing distance greater than about 18 inches, normal 10pt font text is completely unreadable. The color calibration is poor, and requires navigating a clunky menu to adjust. The surface of the screen collects scratches and scuffs from the included pen nib, and requires constant wet wiping to see clearly through. All in all, it's a purchase I greatly regret. What I'm left with, after spending $170 to buy it on sale is the worst 11" 1080p monitor I've ever owned, far worse than a $50 used 15" flatscreen which one could buy almost anywhere.

I'm a trained comic illustrator who is a struggling artist, so I'm always trying to find alternatives to wacom's extremely expensive 1000+ cintiqs. I feel a cintiq is a invaluable tool to have when you want to go pro, and since I made the switch four years ago from a bamboo tablet I have never looked back. After my yiynova of four years died and since it was an outdated model the repair costs were too great/the system itself too sketchy to warrant me paying to continue having it, I went out shopping with my savings for a new one. A fair warning I tend to be far more picky about my cintiqs since I've been a digital artist for almost a decade now, so my points below may not matter as much to beginner artists but can be a deal breaker for me. ~PROS~ -MATTE SURFACE-This was the point that almost made me keep this tablet. There is something so nice about drawing on a matte surface I can't describe unless you've worked with a lot of cintiqs-it feels like you're drawing on paper rather than screen. It also tones down the brightness which is -chef kiss- very good. -BEAUTIFUL INTERFACE-from a glance this tablet is really pretty. Despite it being on the cheaper scale of cintiqs it feels very high end. It is designed extremely well and I feel professional whenever I open it. -DECENT COLORS-not a perfect color to screen representation but its enough for it to be workable. -DRIVER QUICK TO SET UP-I didn't have to calibrate barely anything and was able to properly set it up without looking at the manual. ~CONS~ -THE BUTTONS-The buttons are the biggest issue with this tablet. Its a touch model so while it looks like the buttons on the sides can be clicked on its by touch. The problem is it is EXTREMELY finicky, and most of the time its a struggle to even turn on the tablet no matter how many times I press it (even holding it down like they said to works only 50% of the time). This makes using the shortcut keys nearly impossible as it doesn't register my presses right away. The most consistent thing you can do is unplug the chord. Its a huge design flaw and I'm very sad because otherwise the design is extremely appealing. -THE CHORDS-This is just a me problem probably but the chords are plugged in on the wrong side of where I put my laptop so it makes the working process very cumbersome. Since I work a lot with keyboard shortcuts I cannot move my laptop to the other side so this is also problematic to me. -THE RESOLUTION-it might be my laptop's screen being smaller but the resolution is blurrier on the screen than my laptop. Considering my previous tablet's resolution was crystal clear I feel this is a manufacturer problem. -THE PEN-A minor thing but the tablet pen itself feels very cheap to me-the little stand to put it in is very wobbly and I don't like the build of the pen in my hand. Its straight and narrow and I prefer pen tablets that have more of a grip/bigger in the middle smaller at the edges shape. Its hard to explain but you'd understand if I held up the two different models. This is small however and won't really matter to a beginner probably. Despite these cons I was actually considering keeping the tablet until yesterday two days after getting it it suddenly stopped working. I double checked all the plugs and it was turned on so I could see the screen but try as I might the pen frazzled out and no amount of calibrating could save it. After I turned it off for the night and came back the next morning it was perfectly fine, but that small hiccup on a brand new tablet was enough for me to not be able to trust it going forward. So I'm returning it and staying with my more tried and true XP pen company. I'm not sure if I can recommend it as a long-term, reliable cintiq alt but I feel like it had a lot of potential that was ruined by some design choices. Take with that as you will.

The PD2200 improves upon everything that the previous Gaomon Tablets had to offer. The screen is matte, so there's little glare, the cursor lines up perfectly with the pen, making it easy to draw, the cords are now broken up making it easier to plugin, and the pen is almost (but not quite) as good as a Cintiq's pen, with a softer top, making it easier to hold. I had some technical issues setting it up, but after running the driver as an administrator those problems disappeared. All in all, this is a great Tablet for the price and would recommend highly to anyone who wants a nearly Cintiq quality Tablet for a fraction the price.

The model is PD1561 . Bro this is a legendary product ! I mean the video resolution is too good . MAYBE MY PHONE CAMERA IS NOT THAT GOOD ENOUGH THAT'S WHY IT'S CAN'T CATCH THE RESOLUTION PROPERLY . And the pen touch quality is also good . At first I was hesitating that should I purchase this or not . But after reading many reviews and watch many videos on YouTube I finally toss a coin ☠️ and finally order this . And this is worth it . I WRITING THIS REVIEW AFTER USING THIS FOR 7 DAYS AND ITS LITERARY TOO GOOD . i mostly use KRITA AND ADOBE ANIMATE . AND THE EXP IS just wow , and you can use it as a monitor ..... no seriously ,..
