these are identical to the original and made by the same folks, i bought the locator brand tool to replace old ones from amazon and it works really good to install new ones but i'm less impressed with it's ability to remove the old ones so take a sharp pick or an o-ring pick to remove the old ones, i bought the 5's to give me a better hold, really stiff at first but they will stretch just a little to make it easier after a few times to take them in and out at night, i recommend these and the locator tool and will buy the inserts again,

I have purchased the standard retention locator male cap inserts before and the fit was not snug. ( I have no idea if i'm and saying that correctly)I tried ALL the different levels of retention. The Amazon standard clear caps, hold my clients dentures in place.It was 30 years ago, when the dentures were installed. My client doesn't have any of the original documentation. The dentist charged an arm and a leg for the same results I was getting with the name brand retention caps. Loose fit. Not staying seated. Today was the first time in months I didn't hear those dentures clicking! Hallelujah!Amazon listened to all of those negative reviews and delivered an excellent product.Also, with the other brand, when soaking the dentures in hot water, the caps seemed to lose their retention immediately. I have not used hot water on the Amazon caps, and don't plan to. Just thought it's worth mentioning.

These fit perfect especially if you get the universal tool to place them. Save a ton from the dentist and do it at home!

Even though this cap is supposed to work with my implant system, it did not. It's my error because Even though I have legacy implants the metal housing is not compatible. I suggest asking the doctor exactly what type they use or buying the locator tool, popping 1 out and looking at it. I needed extended range and this cap is not compatible with what I have. My fault, not theirs!

Glad I researched how to replace these caps myself. I have the old legacy Zest Locator system and these (along with the Zest locator tool for the legacy caps) worked perfectly. The tool has a product video that shows exactly how to easily replace these yourself.Getting the black ones out if they have been loose awhile is a bit of a chore, but picking at it with the tool will eventually pop them out. After that, the new ones pop right in and provide a great, snug fit. Once you have the tool and learn how to use it, changing the inserts more frequently is now easy and cheap. The hard part is over ;-)

For some reason my dentist did not put any locators in my over denture with three implants. After researching I found that I needed these. Once I did it was a new ballgame for my dentures. They fit so much better and finally realized why I went through all the trouble of getting implants. At first I was disappointed because the fit was bad and needed a ton of adhesive. After getting several different types of these to find the right fit myself and save hundreds of dollars doing this myself. I am very happy now. Get the tool to put these in and take charge of your dental health. Thank you Zest dental for the videos to show me how to do this.

These were an absolute waste of money.I also ordered the tool, and watched videos about changing them.Every time they were changed at the dentist office, they were a great fit and held tight for several months.Once I got the new ones in and tried my dentures on, the replacements were worse then the ones that I had used for six months.These cannot be returned but Amazon needs to check about the quality of this product.

I bought the insert items including the dental tool, watched a 1 minute YouTube video and completed the job in 5 minutes! My dental office wanted to consult, examine, schedule an appointment in 3 weeks for x-rays and more! Cost...1480.00 (the amount they would have billed my insurance), for 1st visit. ALL I NEEDED WAS MY INSERT RETAINERS REPLACED, cost me less than $95.00! IMPORTANT!!! GET THE RIGHT COLORED INSERTS. Just order the same color that's being replaced. These items are NON-REFUNDABLE
