Brass Rain Barrel/Bucket Drain Port Kit (RBD020-2Pack)

Drilled an 1 inch hole and used a drum sander attachment for the Dremel. A tiny bit at a time until it fit. Super easy.

Purchased this kit to use in conjunction with a ball valve to drain, start/stop, draining of a plasma table. Purchased this specific kit because I had trouble finding pieces that would work with the threads on the plasma table drain plug set up. This product fit perfectly in the drain hole for the table and worked perfectly.

Was actually excited over the quality when this came...have been pleased with function even in weather below 32 degrees F.

Very well made brass parts, you can tell they are made by people who care about good work. The threads on the brass connectors have absolutely 0 flaws.

Drilled a 1" hole in my ibc tote near the top, screwed the thing in from the inside, held the now protruding drain and screwed the retention ring on. Put the cover back on, cut a hole in it so i could attach the hose even ith it covered. Then attached my garden hose to it. Worked like a charm! Best part is the thing is lead free so my rain catchment system is still potable.

I use this as an overflow outlet on my rain barrel. It went on with ease. It only took a step bit (any bit of the right size for the material you're going through should do) and a couple of minutes. We've had plenty of rain to test with, and there are no leaks. A standard US garden hose hooks up to it. My purchase was prompted by an earlier purchase of an outstanding rain barrel faucet of this same brand.

I am a computer geek by trade so installing this into a sealed tank was a new project for me. I followed some interesting string and pull techniques to get it to the hole that I simply drilled out with a small hole saw. Just make sure the access hole you already have is large enough for this to fit through.
