Fit for purpose, very easy to use
This is easy to use, good quality and was cheap. I have had no problems looking for studs when running over plasterboard. It also picks up electrical cables installed behind plasterboard to avoiddrillign into a live wire.

Unreliable detection
Stud detection is a hit and miss... AC detection seems more reliable...

Waste of money
Pretty useless. Just constantly emits a buzz. Is it a pipe? Is it a cable? Is it nothing?Just not helpful.

Excellent bit of kit
Sometimes you buy something that is not that expensive and you wonder why on earth you didn't buy one years ago. This is such a case.

First time using this stud/ live,finder
Dewalt is noted for high quality product , this stud finder is no exception, good price, easy to use , accuracy is not 100% and even in the manual says only a reference , visual checked is still needed it perform 85% job be very careful finding live wire or water pipe as it could cost a very expensive repair, note this is only my opinion/ review

Unfortunately mine didn't work
Amazon were great with returns and simply to follow.Refunded within an hour.First product I have bought from Dewalt that didn't work they are usually spot on.
