U Do Online Courses?
Bought this for performing, but seems like it going to function very well to participate in online courses and have sheet music, backing tracks and notes all right in front of me. Cool! It seems to be be very sturdy, very adjustable and holds my devices well. I have an 8th generation iPad and iPhone 15. I was careful to have one music stand leg projecting forward under the iPad for as much support as possible. Does not seem to be tippy at all, but the music stand is a heavy duty one. Not sure how a very lightweight or flimsy stand would do. This should work well on mic stands too. The holder does not extend excessively far away from the music stand, which enhances stability. Very pleased with this addition to my gig gear!

The Best iPad Holder
If I could give it six stars, I would. I have been using iPad holders professionally now for as long as there have been iPads, and this one is the best. Built like a tank, attaches securely to the mic stand, and very easy to adjust (even mid-song with one hand).

Could be better.
I especially like this ipad holder because I can lay it face down without worrying about damaging the screen. But the screw on clamp is too cumbersome. I play open mic and it seems to take forever installing and removing this from a mic stand. It's great if you don't move it often, but most likely are going to buy it to mobile. It would be perfect if it had a quick connect/release option.

Perfect for 10” fire tablet on a mic stand
This works well on stage for my 10” tablet. With the case on, it’s a close fit, but it’s sturdy enough. As a bonus, it screws right to a mic stand, exactly what I wanted to do with it, so I don’t need to use the bottom clamp.

I'm keeping even though I bought by mistake...
Was looking for something to hold my phone and this product came up...It seems solid and easy to install. I like the weight. Doesn't feel flimsy. My phone isn't as large as some...Moto G Stylus 2025. Not really going to have a good fit...this item would be great with a tablet. Decent price.

Good value mount
I use this to mount an iPad on a microphone stand. It clamps firmly to the stand and also has a good grip on the iPad (10.9”). The low price requires some concessions, however. The tablet clamps are not spring-loaded so to firmly hold the tablet, you have to make sure that 2 thumb-screws are tightened appropriately. The mount also only allows to swivel the tablet up and down as there is no ball joint. That is a bit limiting in some cases so be aware of that before ordering. I still give it 5 stars as it does everything it claims and that I need it to do.

Not Horrible, Not Great
Ok, so to be honest, I only bought this for the main frame of it. It is a cheaper but identical version of the Hola one I bought a while back that got broken at a gig. So, as far as that, 5 stars as my old tablet holders bolted right up to the frame. now, as for the rest of it. It only came with the shorter arms which are not long enough at the longest spread, to hold any normal sized tablet with ANY type of cover on it, nor will the little retainers at the ends accommodate them. they are both too small and too narrow to safely hold a normal tablet with a cover of any sort on it without the risk of it falling out.. Dangerous business for anyone using their tablet for anything on this holder, much less live gigging where the environment may be less than forgiving at times. if you want to risk using your tablet of phone without a cover it is probably fine albeit a bad idea. Anything with a case or cover will probably fall out of it and then you will be back on here shopping for a new tablet.

Surprisingly Good
This is why I love capitalism. I remember years ago looking for at tablet holders like this, the cheapest one's were $60! How is that possible for such a simple device? Well the market has brought these down considerably, with this one coming in at $21! And it's actually pretty good! It's the mechanisms seem strong, fasten tightly, and overall the device seems rugged. Though I do see it now in the description, I didn't realize this stand can be directly attached to a mic stand – as in it has a mic stand size threading on it! This is something I looked for in the past and never could find (though now it seems a lot of them have this feature). This means if you have a mic stand base sitting around you can turn it into a tablet holder no problem. This also has a mechanism to fasten to a pole if you want to mount it to the mic stand you're already using for vocals. The only slight negative is on the holder I received the mechanism that allows the tablet to rotate to any orientation seems like it needs to be a bit tighter. As in it is quite easy to rotate, though it still has some resistance so it will stay in place after adjusting. Maybe there is a way to tighten it, but I haven't found it.

It's affordable, reliable, and genuinely transforms the way I interact with my music
I absolutely love the Amazon Basics Adjustable Tablet/iPad Mount Holder - for Microphone Stand and Music Stand! As an active member of a music group, this device has become an indispensable part of my setup, enhancing my playing experience significantly. The design is simple yet incredibly effective. It securely attaches to both microphone stands and music stands, offering great versatility depending on my needs. The adjustment mechanisms are smooth and stable, allowing me to position my tablet or iPad at the perfect viewing angle. Once tightened, it holds my device firmly in place, even during energetic performances – there's no wobbling or slipping, which is crucial when I'm focused on the music. What truly makes this mount a game-changer for musicians is its ability to keep sheet music, lyrics, or chord charts readily accessible and perfectly illuminated. No more fumbling with paper, or straining to see my device on a cluttered stand. It elevates my tablet to eye level, making it easy to read and interact with my music apps. This hands-free convenience is invaluable, allowing me to concentrate fully on playing with my group. The build quality feels robust for an "Amazon Basics" product; it's durable plastic and metal components that seem built to last through regular transport and use. It’s also relatively lightweight and folds down compactly, making it easy to pack with the rest of my gear. If you're a musician who uses a tablet for scores, lyrics, or as part of your performance setup, I cannot recommend the Amazon Basics Adjustable Tablet/iPad Mount Holder enough. It's affordable, reliable, and genuinely transforms the way I interact with my music during practice and performances. It’s a definite five-star product for any gigging musician!
