I will never have a party without this fog machine again. The machine is very easy to set up and comes with a button and remote to initiate the fog. The biggest flex of all is that the remote has a small antenna that probably works without pulling the antenna up, however, one must not fog unless the antenna is all the way up, it's just not the same. I had showed my friend the "secret button" earlier that day while we were setting it up, and turns out throughout the night we were both initiating fog, without knowing the other was also initiating the fog. At that point, there was way too much fog throughout the residence. Someone got mad at the fog machine and opened the garage door, pointed it outside, and kicked it. The fog had stopped. Concerned, we rushed to rescue the fog machine. We filled it back up with "Fog Worx", plugged it back in, and got the lights going again. At this point, the fog machine went wild. It would no longer respond to the remote or the button, but fogged viciously whenever it felt like it. The angry fog machine would not stop on it's crazy fog for a decent 30+ minutes. At that point, we realized we had lost control of the fog machine. The vibe the fog machine created at this point throughout the night was the most amazing thing we had ever experienced. Lost in the fog, we accepted that the fog machine wants what the fog machine wants. Soon after we came to terms with the fog machine, it started responding to the remote again. At this point I realized with great power comes great responsibility. I passed off the remote to someone else, who also went wild with making the fog machine fog, but this move got everyone to stop yelling at me about the fog, in which case my friend and I kept pressing the secret fog button to keep the fog machine wild. After about 9 hours of constant fog, we only had to refill the machine twice. I will forever be recommending this fog machine to all of my friends and family. Things said about the fog machine throughout the evening: "The vibe is impeccable" "The fog machine wants what the fog machine wants" "The fog machine is a wild animal" "There is fog throughout the entire house/garage and every door/window is open" "How does one little machine produce so much fog?!" "The vibe would not have been the same without the fog machine" "The fog machine is no longer responding to the remote" "We've lost all control of the fog machine"

It puts out a ton of smoke. Just used it one night, but it excelled.

This is an exchange since the first one had a bad circuit board and the LEDs where not working right. I will still give this product a 5 since it works great. It is not a professional grade unit so do not expect such performance. It will work well for small venues and home activities. I am surprised with the performance based on comparison to other ones that I have tried previously in the same price range. Durability can’t be judged yet since I just got it. Rating might changed as time passes by, of course if it fails. Otherwise, it stays as 5 stars.

I've used this for 2 years now and looking forward to this Halloween again. I set it under the bush beside my steps. It will run automatically during trick or treating until the fluid runs out. I use most or all of FogWorx 1QT and that's enough for the evening. I think I had to refill twice. Note that this machine doesn't have a chiller, so the fog will dissipate upward. If you want a fog machine that specifically will create fog that says low, you need a chiller one and that might have to take specific fluid too. This one, however, is great and steps up the game to our halloween house experience for the kids!

After waiting months to receive and open the actual package since we live here in the Bahamas, our happiness ended shortly. After following instructions to the T the machine has stopped working after only the 2nd use and being used less than 30mins with each time. It’s spitting out water and Not heating. Really wish you can rate things “0” stars and Not “1” being the lowest.

This worked well with our laser machine for a Halloween party. The kids really liked it, the adults were jealous of my itty bitty remote with antenna. A LOT of smoke. Didn’t bother the “elders”. Smoke comes out in 20 second intervals and then has a short cool down period of a couple minutes. You control the smoke with the remote. It doesn’t just continuously or automatically release smoke. I was nervous about the purchase but happy with the buy. No buyers remorse.

I haven't had this machine long enough to be able to judge longevity, but in the short span I've had it it is great. I just the few weeks I've had it we've been able to use it to represent a focused dragon breathing fire and as a general area fogger during the after-party for the dragon play. The focused and general both worked better than we expected for a small economical unit. Even though low wattage (we were running off battery) the fogger produced a great effect. The only minor criticism is the set-up for the lights. A button and the remote combined seems a little klunky, but it works when you get used to it.

Overall ok product. The fog machine part works just fine. But came brand new in the box and lights do not work. Not gonna return cause it's already in use but would have been way better with the lights
