Size is small but fine for an apartment. If you want a larger size, you'll pay over $100.Easy to use. I like the fire colors, which you can adjust if you like.Only thing I do not like is that once it warms up, the thermostat does not turn itself off, so I manually have to turn down the temp. Thus I removed a star.I have a large bedroom and it heats the entire hedroom, and into the hallway - makes my 'central' heat not run much or at all when I use it.Solid build. Good quality materials. There is no remote for the item I chose. Some DO have remotes.You assemble the legs on the main body of the heater. Easy assembly, altho I still need to take a screwdriver to fully drive screws on.Thus heater is off the floor. My cats stay away from it, altho they like watching the fake flames. I have no concerns with safety with this particular device (altho I would not leave it on if I was gone for any length of time).Definitely would recommend this product, and the brand whuch has various options to choose from.

I have a balcony where it is always cold and windy, but we’re not allowed to have a fire out there. I wanted to have the ambiance of a fire and I wanted adjustable heat. I bought this little heater based on reviews that it has great heat output for the size while being quiet and I totally agree. It’s nice and warm when I’m right in front of it, but there is also great heat spread indoors and it warms up a small room nicely. I did not notice an off-putting smell or sound.The thing is, I almost returned it as soon as I received it. The fake fire was a little cheesy. I am no stranger to fake fires and have owned other faux fireplaces and would say out of the box this one wasn’t that realistic. There were just too many big flashes of red in it. In my opinion real fireplaces usually put out orangish light with just a few licks of red in the flames with the red mostly confined to the embers at the base of the fire.Simple fix was I unscrewed the bottom panel (before screwing the legs on) and simply partially covered the 2 red bulbs with black electrical tape (high heat resistant, fire retardant) and left the 3 orange bulbs alone. I didn’t cover the entire red bulb, just the top in order to allow heat to dissipate and some red to show through. They are LED lights anyway they shouldn’t get very hot to begin with. This made the fire look SO much more realistic. Before screwing the bottom panel back on, I recommend turning only the light switch on just to check that you like the effect first bcs it’s a lot of screws to take in and out. If you are thinking of altering it this way then obviously you can’t change your mind later and return it.I’m very happy with this purchase and glad I didn’t send it back. It really packs a punch for its size, super easy to move anywhere the only downside is no remote, but for such a small heater I didn’t expect one anyway.

Although dimensions are posted, it’s a lot smaller than I imagined, but true to the measurements. It is truly adorable! Nice and compact, so I can leave it in the room for the summer. It won’t get in the way. Although that attic visiting family guest room has baseboard heaters (turned off when no one is visiting), I am enjoying the lil fireplace heater for instant coziness when I come upstairs to do something. The style and color make a quaint decor. I am very happy I bought it. I hope it lasts. I must add, be sure you want either or all: WiFi capability, remote, cool to the touch. I prefer this simple model, no remote, no WiFi capability

In October, the furnace died. Happily, the weather here was still pretty mild, so instead of paying for a hurry-up emergency installation, we decided to make do with other heat sources while we checked out our options. A few years ago I bought a slightly larger version of this fireplace, and it is very popular, situated in our large living room that for some reason is never as warm as the rest of the house. The only room that didn't have a fireplace or space heater was the kitchen/dining area, so I invested in this nifty little heater.Other reviewers have pointed out that it's a little flimsy, lightweight. We have hit the stage of life where we don't like to pick up heavy things, so this is actually kind of a bonus for us. We're not looking for elegance, for heaven's sake. We do not have formal decor, don't have to impress anybody. But I love that I can move this fireplace around if I need to without getting hurt. The control panel is on the side, inconspicuous and not tempting to children.Is it small? Yes, it kind of is. I will attach a picture or two so that you can see. If you have a large area to heat, go with the next size up, but we were plenty toasty with this one in the kitchen area and the larger one out in the living room. I would buy it again. Of course, if it stops working too early, I'll be back and change my rating and review, but based on how well the larger one has stood up and the light use to which this one will be put, it seems mighty unlikely.

Great unit. Just what I was looking for.This is the only freestanding electric fireplace I found here on Amazon with built-in crackling sounds. It won't fool anyone. The sound is a little muffled, but it adds a little realism to the experience.The flames are dramatic. They appear to come out of the logs and rise and flicker all the way to the top of the unit. The coals glow, but don't flicker.The entire thing is made of metal and feels substantial. It looks nice, even when off.You can use it with a smart switch. There are three mechanical switches on the unit. The lights, the sounds, and the heat. I have the lights and sound switched on, so my smart plug can fire it up when I wake up in the morning.Ok, you got me, it's a fancy night-light, but I like it. It scratches that primal itch to have a fire going, but there is no smoke, no wood, no tinder, no lighter involved.I returned the used one I got here, but I found they are available from the manufacturer directly.

OMG do I love our little heater. This thing heats up the entire living room in the dead of winter. Unbelievable. I especially love how it blows the heat across the floor because everyone knows heat rises and cold is down low so it is perfect. And if you're going to have a space heater might as well have something to look at.

I purchased this product a few months ago, and have been using it to keep my chilly living room warmer. I would use this product for about two hours each day to heat the room before bed and then turn off and unplug. Until today I had been satisfied with the product. I loved the light weight, and not only was it a heater, but a nice little ambiance light too, since I can't get a real fireplace.Tonight after plugging it in for a few minutes on the literal lowest dial setting for heat (this was enough for me), I smelled burning plastic and immediately checked my wall where this heater has been plugged in. There was a trail of dark smoke coming from my outlet and the plug had successfully melted the cover. The outlet and area above are damaged. I have lived in my home for years and have NEVER had an issue with the outlets, even during poor weather. The outlet was not the problem here. My phone was charging in the same area at the same time, no extension cord, just the two outlets, with zero issues.I've written the manufacturer and if they're helpful then I will update this review but currently, buyer beware, the supposed "overheating protection" is not true. I don't normally write reviews but I believe this is serious to consider as an huge safety concern and don't want anyone else to be at risk. I guess plastic and heat just really shouldn't mix after all.

After I unpacked this item it made a loud clunking noise when turned on. I started a return but then I decided to take a closer look, unscrewed the top and the flame mechanism was unhooked, hence the noise. I popped it back into place and then it was fixed. It seemed like it was easier than returning it. It also came with a dent on one of the bottom corners. The seller was in touch with me and offered to take it back or give a partial credit. I decided to keep it and take the credit. Great customer service. As for the function I wish the flame and logs were brighter and more orange-red. The flame crackling noice is actually really great and I use it as white noise to sleep. Overall I would recommend this product for small spaces since its not very big.

This little fireplace looks really nice and keeps a relatively large area nice and warm. It is quiet and can pump out the heat. Excellent purchase.

Calienta bastante rápido una habitación de 9m2, el efecto de flama se ve bastante agradable y aunque es un poco más pequeña de lo que esperaba, funciona bastante bien. El recibo de la luz no se incremento demasiado en la temporada en que la utilicé, aunque se botó la pastilla al tenerla prendida junto con la lavadora, el microondas y otros electrodomésticos pequeños, dejando entrever qué si tiene un consumo bastante alto de energía. Muy buen producto, quedé satisfecha.

This little furnace has been wonderful in our bedroom. Quiet, clean and effective. I would recommend it.

Es la segunda que compro. Buen calor, sin ser intenso. Esta se tardó un poco en llegar.

Esta padrisima como objeto de decoración de verdad parece fuego...pero no calienta para nada o al menos no lo suficiente para una casa promedio de México la devolví y compre un calentador eléctrico Lefko normal pero funcional!
