Great, but not LS7
I used 12 of these in a supercharged 06 Grand Prix. They came pre charged with oil. I had no taps on startup. I am pleased ad I used them in place of 38.00 EACH oem lifters, with a little pn research. THEY ARE NOT LS7 LIFTERS. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE NOTCHES BUT THEY ARE PERFECT FOR ANY GM UNDER LS7

Garbage
Lifter trays were garbage, would not hold the lifters in place or keep them from turning on you. The lifters suck, they bleed down fast, minutes after shutting the engine off, you can restart and they clatter until oil pressure hits them again. Don’t waste the money on these. The amount of work and money for new bolts and gaskets to replace these is not worth the purchase. I wish there would have been a review like this prior to me wasting my time and money for what looked like a good product.

Lifters look good but not trays.
Appear to be a quality lifter. But I’d avoid the trays. Trays do not hold lifter snug like OEM. If I had more time I’d order GM trays.

Who needs Quality Control?!
After initial startup, 2 of these lifters refused to build up pressure. Literally had to tear the top end of the engine (LS3) because you can't remove the lifters without cylinder head removal. Upon disassembly of engine and suspect lifters, I found debris from the machining process in both lifters. One plunger was wedged in the bottom of lifter and stuck because of a tiny piece of metal from the inner lifter bore. The other suspect lifter didn't have a lube hole drilled in the body so it never got oil into the lifter or through the pushrod. After roughly $900 additional expense I purchased different lifters from a reliable manufacturer, new head gaskets, head bolts, and threw these in the trash with the rest of my wasted money in parts and all because the quality of these lifters is garbage. Of course this build took place over Thanksgiving so no support.

Noisy
They still work after 5k miles. However they are very noisy.

Lifter trays with lifters
The lifters are decent. Don’t use the lifter trays though or you’ll be pulling the head’s again. They hold the lifters extremely loose save you’re the hassle and go OEM on the trays.

Waste of time and money
They do not stay in the tray. They feel more like a solid roller and will not collapse like they should. I put them in and had a lot of valve train noise took them right out.
