It seems odd to say I am impressed with such a simple product. I bought to replace a similar product by a major name brand kitchen brand. The big name brand was separating and cracking. Anyway, this new one peels very, very well. It is sharp and peels a very smooth thin cut. Really, the nicest cutting peeler I have ever owned over several decades.

In my 73 years, I have peeled what seems like a ton of potatoes. My last peeler was feeling a bit dull so I found this peeler. It had pretty good reviews, I found it in my kitchen color and ordered it. Yesterday was my first time using it. Let me say that I am super impressed and can easily say it’s the best peeler I have ever owned. It easily glides over each potato taking a thin but complete layer of potato skin off. It’s comfortable to hold though it does feel different in my hand, something to be expected. I like that it came with a plastic blade guard, the blades are very sharp and will help keep it from getting damaged also. The peeler is easy to clean, you can run it under water or put it in the dishwasher. The blade is stainless steel so it won’t rust as the very old ones did many years ago. Because of how sharp it is and how easily it glides over the spuds, it’s a time saver for sure. I highly recommend this product!
