Got it quick and in excellent condition. I stick the package in my big freezer the minute I unpack it. It stays there until we open it and start using the bacon. Then it moves to the top freezer in my fridge for easy access. Yes, I keep it frozen and then take out what we will be using for breakfast/sandwiches etc. each time. The pieces are easy to separate and crisp up nicely in the microwave. The package seems to last forever. And it is wonderful, tasty and so convenient. By keeping the package frozen, one need not worry about expiration dates. The package is thin and long but still easy to store in the freezer. It just slides in on top of everything or on it's side, upright. Takes up little room. Comparing the number of slices to the cooked bacon by the 'big name' at the grocery store, I am saving about $ 10.00/$ 15.00 with the free shipping at Amazon. This is my second or third order and I plan to always keep this item on hand.

Just the way I like my bacon. Thin, crispy. but not greasy. Will buy again.

This is our 2nd purchase of this item. We really enjoyed the first package. It's great to have bacon whenever you want it, without the mess and extra time. These are thin, but still do have great bacon flavor. It also helps them warm up quickly. You can nuke them in literally 10 seconds, but we just prefer to slap 'em in a fry pan instead, 5 seconds per side. They're separated in the pkg by a wax-like paper between layers, and the pkg itself has a zip for re-closure. We're finding great consistency so far, and this has already gone on our everyday list.

I don't use a lot of bacon, so I don't like purchasing the uncooked stuff from the supermarket because it usually "expires" before I can use it. I discovered this pre-cooked bacon a couple of years ago, and determined that it was the way to go. This is a quality product -- excellent taste and texture -- and it's shelf stable until opened. I keep mine in the freezer after opening -- it's super easy to pull it out and grab 2-3 pieces. The slices crisp up nicely in my microwave in about 20-25 seconds (cooking up to 4 at a time). My *only* quibble is that they're sliced very thinly. I prefer bacon to be a little thicker cut - but this is a minor quibble. The cost is a little higher than my supermarket (not much -- I paid just over twenty dollars for the package here; this would be the equivalent of 3 packages from my supermarket at just over six dollars each), but the convenience is more than worth it to me. There are times when I simply cannot get out to do grocery shopping, so this is a wonderful convenience, definitely worth the minimal extra cost. Keep an eye on the price; it does fluctuate occasionally. Bottom line: I'll definitely order this again!

Love this bacon

I use this as crumbled bacon for recipes and as crispy bacon in sandwiches. For these applications it is perfect. It is not really great as stand alone bacon. I used to spend hours cooking bacon for my B&B guests and cleaning up a huge mess. Now, I can have bacon ready in seconds. Pros: Tastes great Crisps up really well in just seconds in the microwave Stays crispy in recipes and on sandwiches Saves untold amounts of time and clean up Cons: It would not be perfect for a side of bacon, it's more suited for recipes. You can tell it's pre-cooked if you eat it plain. Bottom line: It does not take the place of fresh-cooked bacon, but for the amount of time and mess it will save you if you cook a lot of bacon, it is a Godsend. Also, if you want bacon for sandwiches or recipes and want truly crispy bacon, this is perfect.
