Does the pads comes scented? And why is there a need for 24 extra pads if you only need one to apply the oil?

The pads do not come scented. The reason there are so many pads (12 for each vent clip) is so that you can have a fresh pad if you want to switch scents! If you were using lavender but want to switch to orange, putting the orange oil on a fresh pad will make sure you are only smelling the orange, not a weird lavender orange combo!

Are these vent clips the same as the one that young living essential oils sells?

Not sure if same as living essentials but yest they are car vent clips

I cannot open the clip?

Maybe try prying it open? Or may something it causing it to stick? Try rinsing it them opening? Mine open easily, so mot sure why they wouldn't.
